This is just my 2nd day of work as an event coordinator, yet, all of a sudden, I feel much delighted than yesterday.

Why not? The orphanage house I contacted agreed to have a charity partner from us. Kahapon, noong nagbigay ng ideya sa 'kin si Gavin tungkol do'n ay maghapon kaming naghanap ng karapat-dapat tulungan na bahay-ampunan. Hindi rin naman nagtagal ay nakakita agad kami--- ito ang 'Shiloh Orphanage', sa loob ng Montego Hill.

Siguro naman okay lang na maging masaya para sa sarili? Hindi ako ka-galingan sa mga bagay pero para makakuha agad ng benefeciary sa gano'ng kaliit na oras? Achievement ko 'yun!

Thanks to Gavin. If it wasn’t for him, for sure I’m still stuck thinking about it problematically.

Masaya kong sinagot ang telepono ko nang marinig ko 'tong tumunog, "Good mor---"

"CODE NAME SEVEN, EXTREME! Response signal 57024. Respond..."

Awtomatikong nangunot ang noo ko saka saglit na tinignan muli ang screen ng phone ko. Si Seven ang caller pero... ano 'tong sinasabi niya?

"Respond..."

Magsasalita na sana ako nang may sabihin muli siya sa linya.

"Isn’t it working? Is it broken again? Yo, Brod. IT team--- respond..."

"H-Hello?" sagot ko.

"Heeh? What do you mean hello? I’m super sleepy and tired, Brody! This isn’t the time for that. Each minute I’m late, my salary will be reduced by 3%. Have some sympathy, men!" sigaw naman niya, "Give me the boss! I seriously need every minute right now!"

"O-Okay, okay! Please, don’t shout! Relax," saad ko saka bumuntong hininga, "I’m not Brody, it’s me, Konan."

Nanahimik sa linya. Akala ko nga ay hindi na siya magsasalita pero kalauna'y narinig ko rin ito.

"Huh? It’s you? Why are you with boss? OMG?!"

Napakamot ako sa isang kilay ko at nailing na lang, hindi ko rin maiwasang matawa sa kan'ya, "You are mistaken. I think you called a wrong number," sabi ko.

"Phew, I’m sorry, Konan."

"No, it’s okay! Mukhang marami kang pinagkaka-abalahan kaya ka nalito sa tinawagan."

"Yep! God Seven is always busy. But then, let’s chat for a minute then?" anito, "What should I talk about... ah! Si Gavin! Yeah! Balita ko siya ‘yung kasama mo maghapon sa office?"

Tumango-tango ako, "I’m thankful to him because he’s helping me with the ideas. You know that I’m not used to this."

"But yesterday he’s kinda shy to you? Hahaha! I’ve known that guy for so long, so I knew how he was so shy to you. I can see it! What do you think of him? Do you think you could have more fun with him in the future?"

Sumandal ako sa swivel chair at tinanaw ang malaking bintana. I want to have fun with everyone in the future... but for that to happen, I need to do this job excellently.

Ayoko nang ma-terminate... lalo kung si Sir Claudius ang gagawa no'n.

"Why not? I like how charming he is," sagot ko.

"Oh boy!" sigaw niya kaya natawa ako, "I admire your honestly and I will give you ten out of ten with that answer. If ever you take our youngest boy, I’ll respect your amazing hunting skills."

"Anong sinasabi mo?" natatawa kong tanong, "Wala naman ako rito para maghanap ng love life."

"Heeh... that’s why I said if ever, e," humalakhak siya kaya napangingiti na lang ako, "Gavin’s a fun guy so you’ll never get bored with him. I feel like my boredome decreases by 100 when I mess with him."
