Now into the 7th inning 10-2 the 2/3rd years in the lead. The first years were playing defense with Akita as pitcher, Miyuki catcher, Zono 1st base, Kijima 2nd, Kuramochi shortstop, Yamaguchi 3rd and Shirasu right field.
Akita let out a breath as she looked towards Miyuki's mitt he had called for a low inside fastball. "you've shown them how you bat now it is time to show them how you pitch" Miyuki thought as he looked at akita, she nodded in return. With one runner on 1st she had to be precise with her next pitch. She swung her arm throwing a the fastball straight into Miyuki's mitt with a SMACK. Strick! "nice ball" Miyuki said throwing the ball back to Akita. Then Miyuki asked for a curve ball low by the batters knee, she threw the batter didn't even get a chance to look as it sped past him and into the catchers mitt.
Then Miyuki switched to right down the middle. The batter swung hitting the ball and making it fly between 2nd and 3rd but just before it could go any further Kuramochi caught the ball, outing the runner who was on first then throwing it to Zono and landing another out. "YAHaa, two outs" Kuramochi signing a two with his hand. Akita chuckled looking at the shortstop Kuramochi winked at her in response. Fortunately they were able to strike out the next batter with only Akitas fastballs.
