As Saturday rolled around all the players had been notified that coach Kataoka would announce the players joining first and second strings tomorrow. So today was any other day as the 2nd and 3rd years trained the first years were running laps then working on their menus.
* Sunday *
The cafeteria was buzzing with excitement and nerves for after the evening practice the coach would be announcing the new string members.
"oh did you hear" grumbled Kuramochi
as he tried to his 2nd bowl of rice to Akita and Miyuki who were sitting across from him.
"What" asked Akita
"I heard from Masuko-senpai and the others that we have our first practice matches this Friday"
"oh and against who?" asked Miyuki while trying to give Akita his rice but failed and his hand was slapped by her making him drop his chopped sticks "one is against Fukuradoni and the other is Inashiro" and as soon as Akita heard that name she froze in mid chew, gripping her chopped sticks. Miyuki sighed setting down his chopped sticks to grab akitas hand and gave it a squeeze.
"You alright?" Asked a confused Kuramochi
"Ya I just hope I don't run into someone who goes there" she said taking a sip of her drink.
