As golden week came along the Seidou first string players traveled from school to school for practice matches. Akita was able to stake her clam as a worthy opponent when she took down some schools like Sensen with her pitching. Both Miyuki and Kuramochi were able to show strong they have also became with Miyuki genius catching and Kuramochi clearing the bases.
Once golden week was up it was the start of the summer tournament. Akita and her team were now on the way to the ceremony at Meiji Jingu Stadium. Once the bus was parked the team one by one got off the bus Akita looked at her surroundings in awe the stadium standing there as big as she hoped and so many other teams can be seen chatting with each before the ceremony.
Then after a talk from the captain Seidou was off walking to where they would soon need to line up to enter the stadium. As Akita walked in the middle of the group with Miyuki and Kuramochi on both sides they could here the whispers of other teams as they walked by.
"Isn't that Seidou." "looks like they've got some new members." "is that a girl?" "woah there's a girl." one gasped
Akita lightly shook her head as her fellow first years glared at the boys who were whispering pretty loudly. As the group waited some of the members dispersed a little, going and talking to other teams. Akita was just standing boredly watching Miyuki getting teased by Jun and Kuramochi when a voice called her.
