In Malhotra mansion,

Without waiting for her Manik came inside the house. And she also followed him like a scared kitten. She was really missing Neyonika today , she mentally cursed her friend for not being here and also having monster like son. On top of that in the afternoon only she told her parents she is not coming home and staying with Malhotra's.

"Manik.......At least listen to me" she stopped him by holding his hand when she saw him going up . He jerked her hand and harshly grabbed her shoulders.

"Listen to what Nandini...... How can you be this careless aa...... Have you any idea what would have happened if I wouldn't have been there? ......The thought itself kills me thousand times......But u fucking don't care " He blasted on her . Though he was right but his anger scared hell out of her and she remained silent.

"I....I.....I was ju....." she stammered.

"Never.....Never ever put ur dignity and self respect on stake ..... Not for any damn reason.... Understood?" he emphasized each word clearly and she meekly nodded. Seeing her scared face his anger lowered down little bit.

"Now before I loose my control over anger......Go have dinner and directly go to ur room and sleep" sternly he said,  left her shoulders and leave from there for his room. She saw faded blood marks on her shoulder and remembered his injured hand.

After five minutes she asked one servent to prepare dinner for them . She went to her room where she had stayed before . She took relaxing hot bath and wore his white shirt and her shorts .

With food tray in her hand Nandini came to his room and saw him searching something without wearing shirt , after taking bath . He looked little relaxed than before and may be he is planning to sleep directly without eating anything. He saw her at door step and ignoring her he sat on his bed with laptop on his lap.

She sighed and kept food tray on side table near bed , opening drawer she took antiseptic ointment on cotton and kept first aid box again in drawer. He was observing her from corner of eye but remained silent.

She came in front of him , took that laptop away from his lap and put that on bed . He didn't moved a bit and remained grumpy in that position only. She bend down and slowly occupied the previous position of laptop on his lap. He startled a bit but didn't helped her and stayed rigid. She took his injured hand and pressed that cotton ball on his cut , the cut was small but deep .

"I am sorry but I was angry on u " she said looking down.

"U could have punched me " he too said without looking at her.
