"Meowth! Riolu! I'm back! .....Riolu? Meowth?"
You opened the door to your inn, your eyes scanning the small area. One of your hands reached for Suicune's pokéball as you slowly made your way inside.
It was eerily quiet.
When you felt a hand on your shoulder you nearly jumped out of your skin. You spun around, noticing that a 6-foot dragon was standing behind you.
"Goodra! You...scared me..." You murmured, placing a hand on your chest. Goodra smiled as you looked around your inn. "Where are Meowth and Riolu?"
When Goodra gave you a confused stare, you grew worried.
"Y-You do remember them, don't you? Raihan left you in charge when we went out."
The second Goodra heard Raihan's name she smiled, her eyes sparkling. Goodra spun around and pointed to the area around her.
She had completely cleaned your inn from top to bottom. It was spotless.
"I... I'm glad you cleaned my room, but that isn't why we left you here. You were supposed to watch after Meowth and Riolu," You said. Realization dawned on Goodra's face as her smile quickly turned into panic. "...What? What's wrong?"
You remained quiet as Goodra tried to explain what had occurred. Despite her best efforts, you couldn't understand what she was trying to say.
Arceus. You could really use Meowth's help right now.
"Sorry Goodra. I don't understand," You trailed off. "All I know is that those two are missing, and I need to find them. Just wait here, okay?"
You made your way out the door and down the hallway, only stopping when you noticed that Goodra was following right after you.
"Goodra, I said wait here," You explained. When Goodra's eyes began to water, you sighed. "F-fine.... You can go, but... stay close."

"Meowth and Riolu are missing? Would you like some assistance?" Leon asked.
"Thanks, but no thanks Leon. We can handle it. So, how's work?" You said.
You, Hop, and Goodra were currently all in the wild area, searching for your missing pokémon. You knew the odds of finding Meowth and Riolu were slim, but you at least had to try. Leon and Raihan had left earlier on some work-related business. That didn't stop Leon from calling you though.
"Kinda boring. Who knew being champion meant so much paperwork..." Leon trailed off. When he heard you laugh on the other end, he couldn't help but smile. "Hey, you know Raihan is currently battling a gym challenger, right?"
"Really?" You asked. You turned your attention to Goodra, who was currently eating quite a few berries. "But he left one of his pokémon behind. Hopefully that doesn't cost him the match..."
"Oh, Raihan isn't even breaking a sweat," Leon said. You smiled brightly.
"Ah, I see. He'll definitely win then. Anyway, you should probably get back to that paperwork. I don't want to distract you."
"Aww, but I love distractions~"
"Leon."
"Right, right...." Leon murmured. "Anyway, say 'Hi' to Hop for me!"
"I will!"
"Bye! Love you~"
"Love you too."
"Ahaha...wait. What?!" Leon exclaimed, disbelief in his voice. "Y/N! What did you just say?!"
When he didn't get a response, he smiled brightly.
