"Your body is trying to recuperate. You have deprived the need to sustain your quirk for too long. What made you do that?"

"It's...complicated."

"I see. For now, I'll help you get out from the inside while they try their best from the outside. Is that fine with you?"

"Yes, sweetie. I'll guide you into mental imagery so it's not all, uh, nothingness in here. Maybe then, we can refine your control in your dream quirk."

"...I am not sure if I really want to wake up..."

"...So that's why it took me a week to actually reach you. Why though? The outside world is very much more colorful than this."

"Alright! Let's make this dreamland a little bit less dead, shall we? I'll guide you into it. Maybe then, you can let a few visitors in and I hope they can encourage you to into returning to the real world when the right time comes."

Saiki jumpily picks up his ringing phone.

"How's the progress, Lucian?" he alarmingly asks the male at the other side of the line.

"She did the exact opposite of what I told her not to. I'll try to reach her again to help her deal with the haywire of her emotions although I highly doubt that I can dive back to her dreamland," Lucian sighs. "It's up to her to try and survive."

It was the last update that they ever heard. The dream hopper's next attempts were futile, after all.

Days, weeks, months passed by...

And her status remained the same.

Externally sleeping.

Internally battling her own demons.
