It had been two weeks since you and Luke had the fight. Liz came a week ago and he has been staying in the hotel with her. You weren't going to give in. He should've asked you first. He might have bought it and paid for all of it, but you still live here as well so you should have as much say as he does. You guys are married. What's yours is his and what's his is yours. That's the way it should be at least.

You knew that Liz was going to be mad about this. You basically told her she can't stay in your house and now her and her son are in a hotel. You weren't going to make up with Luke though until he apologizes first. Maybe it's your hormones acting up, but you were just so mad and hurt that you couldn't get over it.

You knew that while you were at work Luke and Liz have been coming over and messing with the room that is going to be the nursery. Every time you'd go in there to put something away that you bought for the baby, things would be moved. You didn't know what they were planning, but you weren't happy about it.

You thought about changing the locks but you decided you wouldn't be that cruel. You didn't want to have to apologize for anything when you guys finally made up... if you guys ever make up.

You were currently in a baby store buying some cute, gender neutral clothes. You didn't know what the gender was but you really wanted to start shopping because of how excited you were. You would start buying either boy or girl clothes when you knew for sure.

"I really think you're having a boy." Brittany says as she eyes up the boy's clothes.

"I just want a healthy baby." You tell her.

Brittany asked you to hang out since you were both off and you had agreed. You wanted to shop more and didn't want to go alone so this is what you guys decided to do.

"Well then I think it will be a healthy baby boy," she says. "You don't have any guesses?"

"Nope. I feel like it's too early to guess." You shrug.

She shrugs back. "I already guessed it. Team boy all the way. Look at these cute little overalls." She says holding up the outfit.

You smile. "Those are cute."

She throws them in the cart. "Even if it is a girl, save that for when you have a boy. There too cute not to buy now."

You laugh. "Okay."

She looks around at more things. "I want a baby."

"You should pop the question to Sabrina and then either adopt or find a sperm donor." You say. "You've been together for a while now, just get married already."

"I'm scared to ask her. I feel like she'll say no." She sighs.

"She won't." You reassure her. "She loves you with her whole heart."

"She's my everything." She smiles. "She makes me so happy and I never want to lose her."

"Don't tell me that. Tell her that. Go buy a really pretty ring and ask her." You say, not giving up.

"Maybe you're right. I'll look at rings later." She says.

"Or.. we can go after I pay." You smile.

"You aren't going to give up and stay out of my love life, are you?" She asks.

"Nope." You smile.

"Okay fine." She sighs.

You smile and walk to check out. Once you pay for everything, you guys walk out of the store and walk to a jewelry store. The mall you were in only had a Kay's so you would have to check there first. You both walk into the store and start looking at rings.

She finds a really pretty one soon and smiles. "It has her favorite color in it. Aquamarine."

"That's perfect for her." You smile.

It wasn't like a normal engagement ring, but it was very unique like her. It reminded Brittany and you of the love that Brittany and Sabrina shared together.

She buys it and you guys walk out of the store. "I'm going to need your help."

"With?" You ask.

"Planning on how to ask her." She says.

You think of ways. "Let's go back to my place and we can brainstorm there."

"Okay." She smiles.

You guys walk out to the car and get in. You buckle and start the car. Brittany turns on the radio and starts singing along to whatever was on the radio.

You were really happy for her. She found someone who was perfect for her and she was truly happy. You couldn't wait to get back to your house to help her plan it.

You get home soon and park. You both get out of the car and grab your bags. You lock it and walk up to the house. You walk inside and to the dining room. You sit at the table and sit down and grab a pen and paper that's near you.

"How about a picnic on the beach?" You ask.

"Maybe." She says.

You nod and write it down on the list. "The place where you first met?"

"Maybe." She says as you write it down. "Forget a place for right now, how am I going to ask her?"

"Just tell her how you feel. Tell her you don't want to live without her. Tell her she's your everything, just like you told me in the baby store." You tell her.

She nods and grabs a blank piece of paper and starts writing down what she wants to say to memorize it for later. "Will you be able to come and film it for me?"

"I would love to." You smile. "It's going to be so romantic and magical."

"I hope." She laughs.

"Oh shush, it will be." You smile.

"I wish I could be as optimistic as you." She laughs.

You smile and continue to help her plan for it.

You were happy she asked you to do this for her. It was a nice distraction from waiting for  Luke to apologize. Even if it wasn't for a while, you now had this to focus on and that's all you cared about. You just want to see your best friend happy.

At least Brittany was going to get her happily ever after. If it couldn't be you, you were happy it was them. They deserved it.

Once you finish planning you turn to her and smile. "Operation Brittany's engagement mission is a go."

She smiles back. "Yes, yes it is."
