Iris unlocked the door to their apartment and found Barry on the couch surrounded by a bunch of papers. She was exhausted from trying to find a new office for her journalism and wanted so badly to come home and relax with her beloved fiancé.
"Hey, babe. What're you doing?" Iris asked as she set down her belongings.
"Hey, I was just doing some wedding planning. How was the office searching?"
"Not very good, but I'm not giving up hope....why are you doing wedding planning by yourself?"
"It's nothing like that Iris, you just seemed so stressed and you know since I have super speed, I just thought...."
"Barry. Wedding planning is not a one person job. It's something I want to cherish, and you keep taking that away."
"Iris, it's not that serious. Now that you're here, we can do it together."
"What? Our wedding's not serious enough for you?" With everything that's been going on, she started to get tears in her eyes. Barry saw this and soon came to her side,
"Iris, that's not what I meant."
"I'm sorry Barry, I just-I need some space."
She left the apartment with a tears falling down her face while Barry called out her name.

Iris sat across Caitlin, who had a worried look on her face after hearing everything that had happened.
"Iris. Look, marriage is a huge commitment, and it's normal to be a bit stressed. What isn't normal is a couple like you and Barry. You guys have known each other since you were children. You know he wouldn't do anything to hurt you intentionally."
"I know. It's just that after all the useless office searching and then coming home to see him working on the marriage...I don't know. This wedding is something I've dreamed about since I was a little girl, I wanted us to spend this time together, without the super speed."
"Have you told him that?" Caitlin asked and Iris stayed silent.
"He was just working on it because he thought he could ease the stress."
Iris wiped the tears away, "you're right. I can't believe I fought with him for such a dumb reason. Come with me back to the apartment?"
Caitlin smiled, "of course."

Back at the apartment, when Barry heard knocking on the door, he rushed over thinking it was Iris. Instead, he found Savitar.
"Oh, I wasn't expecting you."
"Yeah, I'm here to solve your little love life problem."
Barry smiled and let him in.
After explaining how Iris ran out, Barry said,
"I just don't know what I did wrong!"
Savitar laughed,
"Seriously?"
"Care to enlighten me?"
"Well, it's kinda obvious. She wants to plan her wedding with you."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, think about it. The last three years of her life have changed immensely because of the particle accelerator, but she's a natural born leader. Iris likes to have things under control, and she probably feels offended that you're doing all this planning without her."
"I just thought it would be easier, with the super speed."
"Have you ever thought that maybe she wants it to be hard. I mean don't get me wrong, it'd be easy to do everything in a day with super speed, but maybe she wants to savor every little moment? Marriage is hard, but that doesn't mean non-metas have never done it."
"Hmm, you're right."
"Don't act so surprised," Savitar huffed.
"I'm guessing Caitlin is the reason for your love advice?"
Savitar involuntarily smiled at the mention of her name and Barry noticed.
"Well, I guess that's a yes."
"Shut up."
Just then, the door opened to Iris followed by Caitlin.
"Iris, I'm so sorry," Barry said and she ran to hug him.
"No, I'm sorry." They both apologized and passionately kissed.
Watching this, Savitar put a hand over Caitlin's shoulder and kissed her cheek. Although, Barry and Iris were caught up in the moment, Savitar's small gesture didn't go unnoticed by the investigative journalist.
"What was that?" Iris broke away from Barry and pointed at Savitar, who shrugged his shoulders,
"What do you mean?"
"Ohmygod! Are you guys together?"
Caitlin and Savitar smiled at each other,
"Not exactly. We're taking things slow and just seeing where it'll take us."
After listening t Iris gush about their relationship, Savitar and Caitlin left the apartment.

"Hey," she said softly.
"What's up?"
"Can I drive you somewhere?"
He raised in eyebrows in suspicion but obliged anyways.
After half an hour of driving, Caitlin parked her car.
"You brought me to a festival?"
"Well, I mean, this is going to be your first Christmas and I thought it'd be fun, but if you don't want to..."
"No, I-I just don't know what to say, thank you, Caitlin."
They spent the evening going on different rides and eating cotton candy until they came upon a Farris Wheel.
They went on and stopped at the top.
"Thanks again, Cait. I-I've forgotten what fun was like."
She laughed, "honestly, me too."
He leaned closer to her, "you know what'd make this better?"
"What?" She smiled mischievously.
"If it snowed," his said pleadingly.
She rolled her eyes and smiled. Within seconds, she put her hand out of the cart they were in and small white crystals fell from no where.

They went home and as Caitlin went toward her room, Savitar grabbed her wrist to stop her.
"You know, we never finished what we started."
"I know," she said softly as she cupped his cheek, "but I'm extremely tired, plus, we'll have all the time in the world to finish." He frowned at the reply.
"Why don't I make it up to you? Sleep with me?" She asked and he smiled.
In bed, Savitar softly said, "Hey, thanks again, for today." She smiled in reply and kissed him sweetly.
In the middle of that night, Caitlin woke up to get a glass of water but couldn't find Savitar beside her.
It was suspicious, but she was too tired and went back to sleep, saving it for tomorrow.

The next morning, the team met at Star Labs to discuss a new meta.
"She's 22 and has the power to transform into, get this, animals."  Caitlin said excitedly.
"Right, she was first seen yester-oh wow, guys, suit up! It's her again. She's at a bank near 27th." Cisco informed them and within 5 minutes the two speedsters caught the young girl and put her behind bars.
"Way too cool, man," Cisco smiled, "we've captured more meta humans this month alone than the last 4 months combined!" Savitar and Barry gave each other a fist bump.
"We still have, you know, Jack Frost locked up," Iris said worried.
"Yeah, but we can't do anything until he reveals more of his plans," Caitlin said.
"Okay, well, Iris and I have to get to cake tasting, call if you need me," Barry walked out with Iris.
"You coming home?" Savitar asked Caitlin who frowned.
"Actually, Cisco wanted me to help him with a Gypsy problem. I'll meet you there though."
Savitar playfully rolled his eyes, "you and matchmaking, I'll see you later," he kissed her forehead, waved to Cisco, and left.
"What was that about?"
"I need your help. I think Savitar's hiding something."
Cisco leaned closer toward Caitlin and raised his eyebrows,
"Tell me more."
