Chapter 24

"Don't you guys worry about anything! Just get good sleep and be happy, everything else is my job." Phoebe beamed.
"Aw, Phoebe, that's great. But we were wondering if there's anything we can get our hands on," Iris asked.
"Hmmm, well, if you want, we can go take a look at the banquet hall?"
Just then, Barry got a text from Joe and he showed his phone to Iris who sighed.
"I'm sorry, Phoebe, but we have work right now. Can we visit the banquet hall tomorrow?"
"Oh. Sure, just call." Phoebe smiled and waved goodbye. She was used to the West-Allens and their sudden departures but she just didn't understand what was more important than their wedding day; little did she know, Barry and Iris were out saving the country.
Outside the office, Barry looked at Iris with an apologetic face.
"I'm sorry, babe."
"Oh stop, it's okay, but you're going to have to make it up to me."
He smiled, "you know I will," she pecked him on the lips and they went off.

Back at Star Labs, Caitlin and Harrison Wells were surprised at the sudden call from Cisco. "Wait what? What happened?"
"You're gonna want to see this yourself. Meet me at the old abandoned warehouse where he first kidnapped you."
"Okay, we'll be right there."
"C'mon," she dragged Wells with her.
Within 15 minutes, they arrived at the warehouse which was covered in yellow crime scene tape.
Caitlin and Wells went to go underneath the tape, when an officer stopped them.
"Public's not allowed."
"No, no. It's okay, I'm a chemist and he's a doctor, officer West told us to come."
"ID?"
Wells sighed and before he could yell at the officer, Joe ran up to them.
"It's okay, Michael. Let them in."
Joe respectfully nodded to Wells who greeted back in a similar gesture.
Wells gave Michael a look and Caitlin elbowed him,
"That's his job," she reminded him.
They turned to Joe while walking into the warehouse.
"Ryan got a call from an unknown caller this evening. He picked it up and heard Nick. He said he was done playing and hung up. Ryan got nervous and called Cisco. We ended up coming here to see this..."
Joe uncovered a body surrounded by a pool of blood.
"Nick?" Caitlin gasped at the dead body.
"I don't understand. You told me he wanted to kill others, not...himself," Wells stated.
"That's what I thought too, are you sure magic's not involved?" Caitlin replied in shock.
"We had the four check it out and we didn't find anything except-"
"Except for this," Caitlin and Wells turned around to see Cisco with a USB in hand.
"Barry and Iris will be here in a few minutes, most likely," Joe informed.
"What? No. They have a meeting with their wedding planner today!" Caitlin said and Joe looked shocked.
"Oh God, I totally forgot," He said with his hand on his head, but as soon as he said the words, Iris and Barry came in.
"Hey guys, What happen-Oh," Barry said as he saw Nick pale body lying on the floor.
"I'm so sorry, Iris. I didn't know about the wedding planning."
"It's okay, dad. We rescheduled. What...what happened to him?" She looked down at Nick's body in shock.
"Believe it or not, suicide," Cisco said.
He brought the team to a small secluded room in the warehouse and installed the USB into his laptop.
"This is what we found in his pocket."
The video played and Nick, wearing the clothes he died in appeared.
"Hello, Team Flash. If you're looking at this, it means I've died. I've caused enough problems to you all, and for that I am truly sorry. All I wanted was to be reunited with my dear Stephanie once again, but in the process I took away your Savitar, which I never meant to do. I realized how consumed I was about getting my wife back, I was willing to kill four innocent lives," he looked away from the camera in disgust, "Caitlin, I have you to thank for opening my eyes, at times, your kind heartedness reminds me of my wife. You first wanted to help me because I reminded you of yourself and in a way, you're correct. Love is what drives us, it  makes us a better person, but the same love can do quite the opposite. Without love, there's no point of anything. The spell, I've found out, won't kill the four witches, if used on one person. Two, well, that's a whole different story. Because of that issue, I've decided to reunited with my wife, just not in this world. I hope you all forgive me, and if you still don't, I hope the veil in my pocket will change your minds. It is a mix of the four witches' blood along with yours, Caitlin, since I killed Savitar, the blood of someone with cryokinesis was needed. Tonight, dig up Savitar's grave and feed him the blood, you will need to say a spell that I will leave at the end of the video. Ask the four to read the spell and the magic will bring him back to life. Again, I apologize for the harm, especially you, Caitlin."
He had tears in his eyes when he stopped the video and the Team was dead silent.
"This is the veil," Cisco said as he showed a small dark red liquid in the veil.
"Cait," Barry whispered in shock and looked at Caitlin who just stood there.
"I-Is this real?" was all she could muster to say.
"There's only one way to find out," Cisco said, "It's only 6pm, we'll have to wait."
Joe stayed with the other officers to get rid of the body.
A few hours later, Cisco, Barry, Iris, Caitlin, and the four witches went to the Central City graveyard and dug up Savitar's grave under the bright light of the full moon. Caitlin could barely breath properly and held onto Iris' hand while Barry speed dug all the mud and Cisco held a powerful flashlight. Everyone's hearts were beating loudly, out of all the crazy they've seen, this was by far the craziest. Barry dug until they all could see the coffin exposed. Barry went to open the coffin when Caitlin spoke up,
"Can I?"
"Are you sure?"
She nodded and he helped her get down while he went back up next to Iris.
Caitlin's hand shook as she tried to pry the door open. After a bit of a struggle, the door opened to reveal a very pale, almost decomposed Savitar.
The four witches held each other's hands and recited the lines from Nick.
Caitlin looked back at everyone who nodded in encouragement. She took the veil out of her pocket and opened Savitar's mouth to feed him the blood.
Within seconds, Savitar's face returned in colour and he opened his eyes.
