#50 (Ship Ratings Part 1)

Alright guys, we got a list to go through.

You are free to put your own opinions on these ships in the comments, as well as agree or disagree with my opinions. However, keep your comments respectful towards me and others. I don't care if you cuss out fictional characters, because mood, or if swearing is just part of your typing/speaking language. But don't use swears when speaking about or towards real life people.

Disrespectful comments will be deleted. Disrespectful comments can include saying things like "braindead fujoshis" when referring to the people who ship some of these things. Also, using Underverse as your base for why you dislike a ship isn't a very strong base in my opinion.

FYI: My number rating system is j u n k. I'll also be separating some of them based off of canon and fanon. Also some will be kinda trashy because I'm either not very enthusiastic about it, I'm tired, or I just don't know what to say.

Dreamberry: Dream x Blue(berry).

Okay so if you want me to be honest, I actually really like this ship. A bean dating a bean?? Beanception. Blue is just nice to everyone and cares about everyone, and Dream completely cut his friendship with Ink off because he didn't give a damn about other people's feelings. Which I mean, mood for Ink, but even I give a damn about SOME people's feelings. But back to the point.

These two beans are just so used to being kind to others and (mostly) receiving the same back, so they'd probably be oblivious to any kind of flirting whatsoever. But Blue probably not so much, since his personality is based on Papyrus, and Papyrus is very easily flustered and all (if that makes sense whatsoever I just typed). But even with that, Blue would probably be oblivious to his own feelings.

Let's not forget about how much of a struggle it would be for them to start dating. It would obviously take time for them to develop feelings. Dream would probably be in denial that Blue actually loved him, dismissing it as his aura, and rather encouraging him to look at the other people around him.

Oh god. Let's not forget about all the chaos that would ensue. Blue having to manage his relationship with his boyfriend/future husband and his home life in Underswap? Dream having to keep an extra eye out on Blue and Underswap because of Nightmare? Them having to keep their relationship a secret because if one of them gets captured by their enemies, they'd be used as a stronger hostage holding against the other?

Just let these beans be in love.

I give this ship a 8/10. The only reason it isn't a 9/10 or 10/10 is because of all the angst potential. Or would that just bring the rating up?

Lustberry: Lust x Blue(berry).

I feel as though this ship is very reliant on how Lust is being portrayed.

Everyone's gross stereotype of Lust (and all of Underlust as a whole) being full of horny, sex addicts who don't take no for an answer or care about consent or boundaries? Get that shit out of here. That can be so toxic.

However! If Lust is being portrayed as someone who is just very flirty or romantic, then that's completely fine!

I'd give this about a... 6/10?

Bloodlust: Horror x Lust (I think).

I'm probably gonna get a lot of backlash for this one, but. Oh well. I don't really like this ship. I used to ship it because I saw a lot of it everywhere, and some artwork I saw was cute. But realistically, this wouldn't work. At least to me it wouldn't.
