Dan's P.O.V. Thursday's lesson
After Chelsea left, Phil stumbled in, almost falling on Chelsea.
"EEK! What the heck?! Get away you creep!" she screeched at Phil, who didn't seem phased by that rude remark. He walked in, and said hi.
"Sorry about Chelsea. She's kind of stuck-up," I said.
"I've heard worse. I hear it a lot, because...um...of...my feet and bad eyesight," he said. I didn't really have the heart to tell him that I knew he was gay; he would tell me when he's ready. Hopefully.
Phil was really good at the steps I'd taught him at the last time. We were in the middle of learning a new dip, when someone burst through the studio doors. Someone with emerald green eyes.
Phil's P.O.V.
Dan was dipping me, when I'd heard the studio doors open. I was upside down, and I saw Matt's brown hair and eyes. I gasped, then Dan pulled me up. I looked at him.
"How the he..hell did you find me?" I asked, flinching at my swear.
"I talked to your sister. Congrats, by the way. What's going on here? Who's this?" he asked, his thin eyebrows raising.
"Um, for the party, I'm taking ballroom dancing lessons. This is my teacher, and friend, Dan," I said, motioning towards him. He looked him over, his eyes shimmering with judgement.
"Your 'friend' Dan, eh? It didn't look too friendly when he was dipping you!" he yelled, spitting in my face. I wiped the saliva off of my cheeks. Dan but in, saying,
"Hey, why don't you back off a bit! He didn't pick me; I was the only person who had the time to add in another student. Who do you think you are marching in here an-"
"Why don't you leave this argument to us?" asked Matt coldly. He walked over to me, and said,
"Come on Phil! I was stupid and drunk when I broke up with you, and I just, I was stupid, and, will you take me back?" I cringed. I didn't want Dan to find out. I stared at Matt, who's eyes were cold, but had a hint of plea hiding behind all of that awfulness.
"No! You obviously broke up with me for a reason, drunk or not. I'm not taking you back, because you seriously hurt me! Goodbye, Matt," I said as I turned my back on him. Bad move. He shoved me forwards, which made me stick out my arms to stop me from cracking my head. Another bad move. My left arm, the one most of my weight was on, hurt like heck. I screeched, which caused Dan to look over at Matt. And punch him in the face. Matt instantly got a nosebleed, but didn't care. He sprinted out of the studio. Dan leaned down, and looked at my arm.
Dan's P.O.V.
"Get up. We're going to the hospital. I'll text my mom and tell her I'll spend the night again. I think you have a sprained wrist," I said as I pulled out my phone. I don't know why I punched Matt. Something just came over me...
