A/N: Chapter written by tato. And yes I made up a sister. I do what I want :3
Phil's P.O.V.
"But muuuuuum, I don't want to-"
"Phillip Michael, you are going to your sister's party, and you are learning to ballroom dance. I paid good money for this school, so no bailing out. And Matt is NOT allowed. You know how I feel about...that."
"Fine. And Matt and I broke up. Bye," I said as I hung up the phone. I sighed and sat down on my couch of my new flat. So what if Clarissa scheduled a ball for her "special announcement" party. It's not like I had anyone to go with, since Matt ripped my heart into a thousand little pieces. But mum INSISTED on getting me ballroom dancing lessons. I mean, we have the money, but what difference does it make? I'll probably be on a date with the dessert table rather than burning up the dance floor. She's treating me like a kid, I thought to myself. I literally JUST moved out, because I'd saved up enough money for a flat, yet she's STILL treating me like I'm a 5 year old. I looked around at all of the boxes I had to unpack, and walked over to one marked "KITCHEN." I picked it up, and almost immediately tripped and dropped the box. I heard the sound of glass smashing. I opened the box, and saw what had been broken. I gasped, holding back tears. It was my mug collection! Once neatly arranged in rows and columns, they were now broken and all over the place; with handles completely broken off, some mugs smashed entirely. I'd been collecting mugs since I was 12, when my mum got me a Super Mario Brothers mug on my birthday. Ever since, I'd bought every mug I could find that had some appeal to me. I had over 100 mugs in my collection, now about 90% of them were smashed. I salvaged the remaining 11 mugs, and looked to see what they were. The following were saved:
~My Super Mario Brothers mug (amazingly)
~A Lemongrab mug, which I'd gotten when I'd visited America
~A mug that my little cousin had made, that said "I love you Phil" in messy handwriting
~My lion mug
~A Hello Kitty mug I'd been given as a gag gift from Clarissa and her husband, Jake
~A One Direction mug (another gag gift)
~A Pikachu mug, which I loved
~One that I'd made when I was 14, that said "PHIL" in bubble letters
~One that said "Merry Christmas!" that I'd gotten from mum
~A "World's Greatest Son" mug from my dad
~A mug that said "I love you" in cursive. When I saw that mug, I threw it to the ground, smashing it. That was from Matt, given to me on our 1-month anniversary. I couldn't bear to look at it, because it reminded me of him. Sighing, I unpacked the broom and dustpan, and started to clean up my mess. I reminded myself that I had dance lessons tomorrow, and sighed again. Yippee.
