Y/N and her group of friends quickly made their way through the Hogwarts hallways, all of them running down each corridor as laughs erupted from them as they closed in on the Great Staircase. Y/N and Corey turned the corner of the corridor into the Great Staircase as their friends trailed behind. Corey and Y/N turned to look at each other with smirks as they started to run up the staircase, their legs pumping with excitement and energy.
Corey started to fall back a bit from the amount of stairs as Y/N kept her pace, skipping a step as she made her way to the top at the Ravenclaw Common Room entrance. She bounded over to the wooden door that had a statue of a raven on it as she caught her breath, her heart racing as she hunched over while waiting for her friends. Within seconds, Corey and Karan were seen emerging from the staircase first, Corey's arm slung over Karan's shoulder as the two gasped for air, neither of them expecting to have as much of a workout as they did.
Y/N couldn't help but laugh at the two as their chests heaved, both of them looking worn out and tired. Behind them, Brett and Jenna slowly walked up the stairs, looking just as exhausted as the two boys in front of them, Brianne and Sofia following behind them with small smirks.
Y/N continued to laugh as the four exhausted Ravenclaws shot her a glare, Sofia and Brianne only snickering at the sight. Corey turned to look at the two girls with a confused glance as he tried to catch his breath, Karan beside him with his hand on his chest like he was helping his heart go back to normal.
"Why aren't you two as tired as us?"
"Because we were smart enough to know running up almost twenty flights of stairs would wear us out," Brianne said as Sofia snickered from next to her.
"Amen to that."
Brianne shot Sofia a small smile with a half scoff, half laugh at her words before turning back in front of her, all of them still watching as Y/N calmed down from her laughing fit.
"I don't know how you did it," Brett said, still gasping for air, "that's twenty flights of stairs with at least 15 steps each, how are you not dying?"
Y/N shrugged with a small smirk, "Guess I'm just special."
"Yeah, right," Jenna said with a scoff, her breathing back to normal, "Or maybe it's because you're always in shape because of Quidditch."
"That could be it, too."
Jenna scoffed with a roll of her eyes as she walked to Y/N, hitting her upside the back of her head as she whined.
