A ding from Y/N's phone woke her up, a slight groan leaving her lips. She rolled over on her side as her arm reached over, grasping the device. She brought it to her face as she scanned the screen.
8:38 am December 26th
Y/N's eyes scanned the lock screen, her eyes immediately catching a message from Cedric.
I figured out something with the egg. Put it in water, you'll see what I mean. - Cedric Diggory
A sigh left her lips as she put the phone back down, sitting up on her bed. She rubbed her eyes for a moment before stretching her back, going to stand up.
As soon as she stood, a hand reached out for her arm, bringing her back to fall onto the bed. A groan left her lips as she hit the mattress, her eyes catching who it was as a small smile rose to her lips.
"Hermione, come on. I need to get up."
Hermione groaned as she rolled over, slinging her arm around Y/N's torso as she nuzzled her face into her shoulder.
"No, you're not leaving yet."
Y/N let out a raspy chuckle as she looked down to Hermione. A smile rose to her lips as she remembered last night, the feeling of Hermione's lips on her replaying in her mind. Y/N wrapped one arm around Hermione as the other placed itself on her hip, the bushy-haired girl laying on top of her.
"Mione, please. I've got to keep trying with the egg."
Hermione let a small groan of disapproval slip past her lips, her sleepy, tired eyes looking up to Y/N. A goofy, lazy smile took over her lips as she looked at Y/N.
"Morning."
Y/N let out a small snicker, "Good Morning."
Both girls were laying bed smiling at each other, Hermione basically laying on top of Y/N as her chin rested on her shoulder. Hermione's eyes scanned over Y/N's face, her sight immediately stopping on Y/N's lips.
She was craving to kiss her again, the feeling of the warmth that enveloped her lips last night being highly addicting even though it only happened once. Y/N saw as Hermione's eyes stuck to her lips, a small smirk rising to her lips.
"See something you like, Granger?"
Hermione's bottom lip tucked itself between her teeth as she absent-mindlessly nodded. Her face inched closer to Y/N's, their hearts fluttering once more just like they had last night.
Y/N's tongue ran across her lips as she watched Hermione's face inch closer in anticipation. Hermione sat up slightly so she could rest their foreheads together, their noses being an inch apart. Their breath tangled together between them, Hermione's eyes flickering down to Y/N's lips.
"Y/N," Hermione said softly, their noses now brushing together.
"Yeah?"
"Is it alright if I...?"
Y/N let out a soft laugh as she nodded, their foreheads pressed against each other.
"Do you really even think you have to ask?"
Hermione smiled before pressing their lips together softly once more. They moved their lips together in sync, Hermione's hand reaching up to the back of Y/N's head to bring their faces closer together.
A sigh left Y/N's lips as they kissed, the feeling of Hermione's lips immediately making her relax into the bed. Hermione sat up as she straddled Y/N's waist, the Ravenclaw propping herself up on her elbows, the kiss not disconnecting once.
Y/N rested her hands on Hermione's hips as Hermione's hands flew to her hair, quickly tangling into it. The kiss was still slow, but full of emotions, and both girls could tell it was to show how much they had been suppressing their feelings for each other.
Hermione's hair created a curtain around them as they kissed, the girl practically towering over Y/N. Their lips continued to lock as they smacked together, Y/N's bottom lip being trapped between Hermione's.
They pulled away with small smiles, Hermione giggling.
"You're quite the kisser."
Y/N snickered as she pushed her lips back to Hermione's.
"Really, couldn't tell," she said sarcastically, Hermione giggling against her lips. This definitely was the best way to wake up in their minds.

yeah short chapter i know but i wanted at least some continuation of the kiss lol
anyways turns out some of my exams were pushed back to next week so i might have able to update a little more than once a day
