"Y/N quick, Beauxbaton and Durmstrang are here!"
Y/N quickly turned to see Karan waving her over from the hallway towards the bridge, a crowd of students passing by as everyone watched the new students arrive at the school. She quickly ran to him and grabbed his hand, the two making their way quickly through the crowd and onto the bridge, the sight of flying carriages being seen in the sky as they approached Hogwarts.
Hagrid was on the ground with wands emitting light to show where the carriages should land, the half giant, half wizard waving the wands back and forth. Y/N and Karan had managed to get to the front of the crowd, Corey and Sofia now beside them as they all looked over the ledge.
The carriages seemed to be coming in fast as Y/N watched, her eyes changing between looking to Hagrid and the flying carts.
"Is it just me, or do they seem like they're coming in a bit fast," Karan said, Y/N, Corey, and Sofia quickly agreeing with him.
Hagrid kept waving the wands fro the carriages, the flying objects now whizzing towards him. All of the students on the bridge watched amused as they saw Hagrid's quickly try to duck or move out of the way, the half giant, half wizard diving to the side as the carriages touched down on the ground near the Black Lake.
"That has got to hurt," Sofia said, cringing at how hard Hagrid had dove onto the floor. All eyes quickly moved to the Black Lake, a ship's mast now being seen as it emerged from the dark water.
"It's Durmstrang," Corey said, a smile rising to his lips. The group of four Ravenclaws watched the large pirate-viking like ship emerge along with the other students, all of them looking at the scene in front of them in awe. The ship's mast quickly rose as the hull and full body of the ship was now seen, a picture of a red, two headed phoenix on the front of its sail.
"Holy," Y/N said as she watched, carriages still flying in as the ship grew closer towards the school. Students quickly started to leave, all of them going to their dorms and houses to get ready for the welcoming dinner. Y/N tugged on the boys' and Sofia's arm, nodding her head in the direction of the school.
"C'mon, the dinner is in an hour. We have to get ready."
The three nodded their head at the girl as they left their spots at the ledge of the bridge, quickly making their way across and back into the school, the four quickly running to the Ravenclaw house to get dressed, eager and excited to welcome new students into their school.

The group of Ravenclaw friends sat down in their usual spot at their tables across from the Gryffindor house, the Golden Trio all shooting them smiles as they sat down. Y/N quickly sat down in between Brianne and Karan as Jenna, Corey, Brett, and Sofia sat on the opposite side of the tables from them. There was a table in between the Ravenclaw and Slytherin house tables, probably where the other students from Durmstrang and Beauxbaton would be seated for the dinner.
