"Oi (Y/L/N), Ortega, Brar! You guys coming?"
"Yeah," Y/N yelled over her shoulder to Ron as the three Ravenclaws stood from their seats. She turned back to Karan as he tapped her shoulder.
"What're we going to Hagrid's for exactly?"
Y/N only shrugged as Jenna and Karan followed behind her, the three approaching the Golden Trio that was waiting for them by the Great Hall doors. Ron and Harry pulled Karan in for a hug before they moved to Jenna and Y/N, Hermione only shooting the three a smile as they approached.
"You guys ready," Harry asked, everyone nodding their head as they turned to make their way out of the Great Hall. The group of friends entered the corridor, starting to walk down the narrow pathway as they turned corners to get to Hagrid's hut.
"So, we're going to see Hagrid's for...?"
"We just haven't been able to see him as much," Harry said, Y/N and Jenna nodding in agreement as they walked next to each other.
"Harry's right," Jenna said, "We haven't talked to Hagrid's since the first day of school, we've all been busy."
"That's why he asked if we could swing by," Ron said, the group turning the corner towards the doors that led outside. They all started to converse among themselves as they continued to walk, the doors opening as they made their way down the hill towards the hut.
"So Y/N," Ron said, the Ravenclaw turning her head to the redhead with a curious look.
"You and Fleur seem...close. What's that about," the red-haired boy said, his eyes glancing to Hermione for a moment to see her reaction from his question. Hermione's face didn't move out of its blank expression, Ron looking back towards Y/N unaware that Hermione was scolding him for asking that in her mind.
"Oh, um," Y/N said as she shyly rubbed the back of her neck, "We're just friends, that's all. She has her eye on some guy from her home."
Y/N hadn't realized that as she was talking she and Jenna subconsciously slipped their hands into each other's, Jenna's head going to rest on her shoulder as they walked side by side. Karan and Harry looked down at their hands before sharing a knowing glance as Ron glanced to Hermione for a moment, her eyes glued to their hands.
Ron quickly looked away and nudged the two other boys as he nodded his head in the direction of Hermione, Karan and Harry looking at the jealous state of the girl as they shared smirks, the three girls oblivious to what was happening.
