꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂It was quite comfortable really, the feeling of fingers lightly scratching at the back of Y/N's neck as another hand played with the baby hairs on the back of her neck. Y/N didn't open her eyes, only reveling in the feeling. She let out a small groan of approval to the person as she woke up.
"Good morning."
Y/N eyes flew open at the voice, her eyes immediately connecting with Hermione's whose head was resting on her shoulder as she laid on her chest with her arms wrapped around her neck, her fingers still playing with her hair and softly caressing the skin under them.
The Ravenclaw lightly blushed as she looked down at the girl in front of her confused. This wasn't the position the two had been in last night, but now Hermione's front was against hers unlike the night before where her back was pressed against her front.
"Uh, g-good morning," Y/N said as Hermione shot her another smile. The bushy-haired girl's eyes scanned over Y/N faces, observing how the sunlight that came through the window of the common room hit her face perfectly, enhancing all of her features.
"How did you get in this position? We were in a completely different one last night."
Hermione shrugged as she continued to scan Y/N's face, "I don't know, perhaps I rolled over in my sleep. You're quite comfortable."
The Gryffindor's cheeks blazed a bright red at the words that seemed to spill from her mouth uncontrollably as Y/N let out a chuckle, the sound coming out raspy seeing as though she just woke up.
"Thanks," Y/N said with a small smile, "How long have you been up for?"
"Only a few minutes," the girl replied. Y/N nodded her head before she leaned her head back onto the arm rest, Hermione's fingers still caressing the back of her head. The Gryffindor's eyes stayed put on Y/N's face as the girl closed her eyes, leaning her head back onto the arm rest of the couch, Hermione slightly smiling at the relaxed state of the girl in front her.
Y/N's arms were wrapped around Hermione's waist, her fingers playing with the hem of the Gryffindor vest that Hermione had fell asleep in last night. She felt the gray, wool vest under her fingertips as she took in a deep breath.
"What time is it," Hermione asked, burying her face back into the crook of Y/N's neck. Y/N unwrapped one arm from around the girl as she reached out to the table in front of them, her hand grasping her phone firmly. She brought the phone to in front of her face as the screen lit up, her eyes widening as she quickly sat up, Hermione falling off of her position on top of her and onto the other side of the couch with a groan.
