"Can I?" Lucy asked to confirm again whether it was okay to say it aloud.

"Sure go ahead." Vyera urged.

".... Mystogan." She said timidly.

Vyera immediately gave her a thumb up, "Correct! That's my sister for you!"

"Eh seriously?! I'm correct?! But why?"

"... I was rejected... that was when I'm just 14... Might seem like a child's love to you but I really, really loved him..." She reminisced, "He was just there in the guild when I came back from my training. In no time, we became friends and often went for missions together."

"... Don't tell me..."

"Yeah... He had known that Lucille is not his sister and he fell in love with her since then... Even after he came to this world."

"Isn't he just using you as a replacement?"

"No... It was just me. Like Gray, he could differentiate us both. He clearly told me that he loves someone else, someone who is similar to me. Seeing his eyes, I gave up immediately. But he told me he wasn't from this world. That's why when I got to Edoras and hearing from Lucille, I knew immediately who he is and who the one he loves is."

Seeing her sad face, Vyera just smiled, "What's that sad face for? I got over him now."

"Geez... I wonder if that’s the case... There is another one with the same face in Earthland too…" Erza said, surprisingly.

"Haha… That’s should be your case, not mine." Vyera smirked at Erza, "Let's drop the topic and get to party, shall we?? I want to hear about everything that happened after I'm gone."

While eating and drinking, they slowly told her about her death and how the magic council announced it to the guild.

"... Eh? I'm now one of the Ten Holy Mages? Wow…" Vye repeated, couldn't believe what you have heard, "I'm granted that title just for stopping Aetherion??"

"Stop making it sounds like stopping Aetherion is nothing... It can be a legend already..." Erza sighed, "Oh, and I went to your grave just now to modify the date and all that..." Erza rummaged her pocket and took out something from her pocket, "But strangely, there was a ring-"

"AAAAAAH!!!" Gray shouted damn loudly and pointed at the ring but before he could explained, he almost earned an instant kill from Erza. Everyone else was already covering their ears to save them from harm. He ended up sitting back quietly.

"That's loud..." Vyera said while still rubbing her ears, "Let me see the ring?"

Erza handed it over while nobody noticed that Gray was already blushing like a red tomato beside her,

"This crafting..." It was made that the pattern of a phoenix and a dragon were circling the ring. Vyera immediately understood but seeing the one who made it didn't even dare to look, she just wore it on her left hand fourth finger.

"Nee- Nee-chan?!" Lucy gasped.

"Why? Since it was in front of my grave, then it's for me, isn't it?" Vyera replied casually.

"Well that's true but... doesn't it ever cross your mind that it might be cursed??" Lucy asked.

"No way. I can't detect any magic from the ring."

Trying to avoid further interrogations, she urged them to continue with the story that she had missed during your absence. She gave Gray a quick wink as thank you. Another shocking development of Luxus' rebellion and how he was expelled from the guild.

"Luxus that bastard... How dare he did that..." Vyera said in anger.

"Talking about Luxus, he left you a letter." Gray said and rummaged the drawer in her room, "I was damn surprised when he showed up here. I remembered I threw it somewhere here... Aha!" Then he handed it over to her.

"...." Everyone was silenced.

"Now, Lucy... This is what you should fear as 'cursed' letter." Vyera said.

"I agree..." She nodded

Nevertheless, Vyera opened it, nothing happen, and she read it.

"What did he say?" Gray asked.

Vyera smiled as she finished reading it, "He has changed." Vye then passed the letter around.

Idiot sister, you had better get used to thunder before we meet again.
I won't go easy on you next time!
And... Sorry for not being a good brother.

"... That was... really... unexpected?" Lucy said after reading it, "Who would have thought Luxus is the one who wrote this letter?"

"It might just suddenly snowing you know?" Vyera added.

Then they continued to how they met Wendy and also the Lamia Scales with Leon and the gang as the members plus several other people from different guilds to defeat the Oracion Seis. That's where they managed to found Vyera’s body being controlled as well.

"Wow... That's kinda cool, don't you think?" Vyera started, "I mean, the whole demon stuff... and the wings..."

"Vyera-san..." Wendy suddenly started.

"Yes?"

"Anoo... Umm..." She was hesitating.

"Just say it, don't be shy."

"... Can I... see your wings?"

Vyera stared at her for a while before she smiled and patted her, "Of course. Next time, don't hold back. We are family, after all. Be a bit spoiled."

"Let's go out then? It'll be perfect under the moonlight." Erza suggested, "Especially on the rooftop." She grinned.

Everyone followed and climbed up to the rooftop with ease, except Lucy and Wendy which needed a little bit of help. Vyera slowly breathed in and concentrated. This was the first time she did it on her own whim. Most of the time when the wings were out was just a coincidence or when she used too much power.

"... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..."

"Hey! Isn't that a little too long?!" Everyone asked after almost a minute of silence and anticipation.

"Stop pressuring me! It's harder than I thought!" Vye replied.

She exerted the power after calculating the effect and finally the devil wings were out. They were of ocean blue color and when hit by the moonlight, the wing became a little bit transparent sky blue. Wendy was the most amazed. Her eyes were twinkling with excitement.

"... Splendid." Erza grinned. The others were mesmerized by its beauty, "Nobody would have thought these are demon wings..."

"... ! I have thought of an idea..." Vye suddenly said, "Wait a minute." Then you concentrated again and in a few seconds, the left wing became full of pure white feathers. It became an angel wing."H-How?!" Lucy exclained.

"Transformation magic." Vye smiled, "Thank Mira for teaching me patiently over all these years."

"Hey! Hey! Make it both!" Wendy asked excitedly

Vyera transformed another wing into the same angel wing. Then she tried flapping the wings and wrnt floating above the ground. Vyera had the feel and was getting used to it. At least it was easier than when she first tried to fly using her wind magic. It saved more magic power too. Just that it was using her back bone so she needed to train that.

"Hey this is fun..." She said while still flapping it and finally posed, "Humans, I have descended from the heaven to fulfill your wishes..." Vye acted as if she was a real angel while spreading the white wings.

Everyone was laughing, enjoying the performance. Playing around with wings was pretty fun and so Vye took Wendy on flight since she was the lightest one of everyone there.

"How is it?" She asked Wendy when she reached the maximum height above the city. Although most of the lights were out, however, the remaining bright road lamps were like stars in the darkness of the city.

"It was fun! The scenery was so beautiful..." She said with excitement. She was like another sister to Vye. Ever since she knew Wendy was younger in Earthland than Edoras, the more she adore her.

"Okay, let's get down then. Hold on tight." She sped up towards the ground, causing Wendy to close her eyes in response. She managed to slow down just before she hit the rooftop of the apartment and landed perfectly.

"It's convenient, but tiring." Vye sighed and the wings disappeared, "My back hurts..." She stretched a bit.

"You are just like an old woman now!" Natsu commented and laughed out loud.

"I'll show you whether I am old or not!!" Vyera said, playing along and chased after him. Afterwards, they were told off by some neighbours for being too loud and decided to retreat back into the room for the late night party.

As people often said, happiness and peace couldn't last forever. The very next morning, Vye woke up the earliest as everyone was pretty drunk since yesterday night. She could stand alcohol better than the others, it seemed. It was almost noon, so Vye decided to go down, get the newspaper and went out to get some lunch for everyone.

The surprise was there was an anonymous letter was placed in her post box along with the morning newspaper. She opened it up out of curiosity and found her photos with the demon wings taken yesterday night. It wouldn't normally mean anything but there was a letter that came with it.The moment she opened the letter, she knew it was no good. The emblem of the Magic Council was stamped on top of the letter.

To Miss Vyera Phoenix,

We, the Magic Council, have a source reporting that the demon Xrytos created by the dark mage Zeref is currently sealed in you.
The pictures and reports were sent to us early this morning. This matter must be verified immediately by the Magic Council before it can be concluded that it is safe for you to be living alongside humans.
Thus, you are summoned to the Magic Council two days from the date of this letter.
If it is found that the seal is not strong enough to contain the demon Xrytos, you will be placed under the supervision of the Magic Council for unlimited time.

To add on to this matter, previously, we received a report from Erza Scarlet explaining that you are suffering from amnesia after being found since the incident at the Tower of Paradise.
Given the period of time, we believe you have recovered your memories and would like your cooperation as the witness for the incident.

As of the date of this letter, you are dismissed as the 'Secret Inspection Mage' of Magic Council.
We will be waiting for you at the Headquarters of the Magic Council.
Non-appearance is not an option in this case.

Regards,
Guran Doma
Head of The Magic Council

From the letter itself, it seemed she was not even regarded as a human anymore. In their eyes, she was only a demon capable of destruction and a threat towards humanity. Indeed, Vye was no longer a human. But she couldn't say she was a demon either. This was the first time after she became a half demon that she wondered what exactly she was now. Although the others were sure to say it didn't matter who she was, but she wanted to confirm what the others see her as...a human? a demon? or none of the both?

"... Vye?"

She was surprised and turned to see sleepy Gray, still rubbing his eyes, wearing only his pants, "G-Gray... Why are you up so early?"

"Bathroom." He answered with yawning loudly, "Geez... I still got a bit of headache... Drink too much..." He rubbed his head.

Should Vye tell him? Normally she wouldn't. But it didn't feel right not to tell them this time. She was still debating with herself even after she promised to keep anything from them. Habit sure was hard to change.

"Vye?" He called.

"Ah, then go back to sleep a bit more. I'll go get some food for everyone."

"I'll go with you."

"No, it's alright. I'll be back in a bit." Vye forced a smile while feeling anxious. She could feel Gray's suspicious gaze on her as she left the area.

While wondering around getting the food, she kept thinking. After all that happened, she learnt that sharing the burden and depending on others was easier than shouldering everything alone to protect everyone. Indeed, being a bit selfish is alright sometimes. Moreover, keeping another secret from everyone made her feel even guiltier. Everyone must be quite fed up being kept in the dark... the fact that she was part of the council, about the demon Xrytos, leaving them without saying anything after facing the Aetherion... Even in Edoras, Lucille kept telling Vye to depend on others even if the others were not as strong as her. No matter how weak someone is, they could be a bit of help.

She smiled to herself. Lucille was more mature than her in that sense. She was not childish at all. Vye finally decided that she shouldn't keep anything more from her comrades, not after all the helps and supports that they gave to her all these years.

Just that morning, she saw a dream about Edoras. As expected, Jellal was crowned the King supported by all the people of the kingdom. Lucille was right by his side when that happened. She will be crowned the Queen sooner or later. The guild system was still being used and without a doubt, Fairy Tail was the first re-establish guild. Lucille still went there once in a while to check up on everyone.

Everyone was back to work and seemed to adjust pretty well even without magic. There were no worries there. She guessed Lucille could see a dream of Earthland too. Probably not often, but the two of them were definitely still connected somehow.

Reaching home, she prepared herself to enter her room, where all the girls have been sleeping for the night. The guys were at Gray's room. Then she opened the door."I'm back." She said cheerfully.

Everyone was already up and sitting on their own chosen spots and looking all serious. Vye could only sighed, "I have a feeling that it will be like this..."
