A/N: Hi All! Sorry for the delay but I wanted to finish the story before uploading anything else. I haven't broken the rest of it up into chapters yet as I'm now working on editing it up, so I don't know how many more updates there will be, however, I am planning on uploading every day until we're out of chapters! Thank you all for reading and voting! I am blown away by the amazing rankings I have had on this story and I can't thank you all enough for your support!

Also, how's everyone doing today on the official 1 year anniversary of TROS? You know, the day they finally gave us Ben Solo and then ripped him out of our hands moments later. I mean, I'm fine *said in Ross Geller's squeaky voice* everything is fine....

Anyways, Enjoy!

"Is this it?" Kira whispers as she sits up in the small cockpit of the replacement ship they were able to lift off a smuggler who left his ship unattended a little too long after ditching the Tie Fighter out in the wilderness of the nearest planet. Knowing that the First Order wouldn't be too far behind due to the tracking beacon that was too deep into the main power panel for them to get to fast enough, they made their escape quickly and were sure to leave the system entirely. Temiri's knowledge of some of the systems from his years working for the First Order came in handy as they were able to jump from planet to planet making it virtually impossible for them to be traced by the end.

"This is it," Temiri responds simply while powering the ship down, his fingers flying across the old switches and the lights slowly turning off with each click.

Kira wrinkles her nose up and looks up at the line of mountains in front of them, nothing alluding to the fact that a resistance base would be located within them. "It doesn't look like much," she observes, her mouth twisting into a contorted line in skepticism and disbelief, a feeling of hopelessness beginning to wash over her. They have been traveling for days nonstop and at this point, they're both hungry and desperate for a comfortable bed and shower.

"That's the point, they don't want to be obvious. Why else would they have picked this hell hole?"

"I guess you have a point," Kira mumbles and stands up to follow Temiri off the ship, her hand instinctively moving to her hip to ensure that she has her saber still secured to her hip.

"Wait, lose the jacket," Temiri stops her, his hands held right up in front of her face and she look at it then back up at him.

"What?"

"It's sweltering out there, plus the less black you're wearing the better," Temiri explains with more clarity, motioning for her to move faster and take it off.

"What about you?"

"I can't strip any further and stay decent," he points out with a smirk and Kira has to fight the blush that is threatening to form bright red patches on her cheeks as she wiggles out of the jacket that clings tightly to her arms.

"Let's go," Kira says quickly and sneaks past him to hide her face, throwing her jacket to the side on a small crate.

The heat is unbearable as Temiri had warned her and it makes it almost hard to breathe, not to mention how blinding the sun is coming off of the sand. Kira shades her eyes with her hand, making it only a touch easier to see anything clearly in the bright light and tries to stay upright as her boots slide in the sand with each step.

As they walk closer to the bottom of the mountain, it's clear there is a metal door large enough to be the entrance to a decent-sized hanger, and they change their desired destination, both of them turning slightly to walk towards it. With each step, Kira can't shake the feeling that they are being watched and she reaches over to take Temiri's hand, finding comfort in his gentle touch and his gentle guidance through the unsteady terrain. Both of them are on edge, their hands at the ready to grab their weapons in defense at the first sign of opposition and trouble, hoping that no issues will arise and this will go seamlessly.
