Eyes shut and legs tottered when the car screeched halt infront of Jungkook as his body involuntarily moved back, almost losing his balance which caused him to fell down on his bottom. His mind went blank, failed to function any movement around him and his body twitches slightly as he was scared.

"Jungkook?!"

Jungkook didn't hear the voice, his body felt numb from the sudden event. But a warm body embraced him, not letting his fragile body to meet the ground.

"Jungkook?"

The wavery voice reached to eardrums causing him to came into the reality. He still was scared as he clutched his hand over the unknown person's arm. He tried to open his eyes.

"God, is that you?" Jungkook stammered, eyes slowly flutters open, expecting someone with circle thingy over head.

"Doll, are you okay?" Jungkook couldn't able to see the face of person as the streetlight was falling upon his face, making him go blind by it.

"Hey, doll – open up your eyes." Jungkook felt the person hugged him tighter while his grip on the person's collar tightened.

"Taehyung?"

Taehyung breathed out in relief. "Yes, doll. It's me." He pulled Jungkook on his lap, hugging him firmly as he doesn't want to let him go at any chance.

"Thank god, you scared all of us!" Taehyung laughed gaily, cradling the small boy.

"Scared? Why?" Jungkook asked in a tiny voice, chin placed on Taehyung's shoulder while eyes big in curiousity. He felt comfort by Taehyung's patting.

"You went missing for straight 6 hours, doll. No one had the clue of your whereabouts. Everyone is looking for you right now." Taehyung pulled back from the hug. "Your dads are worried as hell." He continued, looking down at the bambi eyes.

"I got a call from your dad saying that neither you were with your friends nor you went home after school." Taehyung breathed out softly. "I-I really got scared. You doesn't know anything about outside and I thought you got lost, doll. We thought you got lost. You scared us, doll." He leaned to press their foreheads together.

Jungkook stared up at Taehyung's brown eyes. His bottom lip trembled and closed his eyes as he let out a cry.

Taehyung panicked when he saw Jungkook began to bawling out like a small kid.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt somewhere?" Taehyung asked, checking upon Jungkook's face and hands. He notice a cut on Jungkook's elbow probably because he fell down.

"Shush! Don't cry." Taehyung said softly. Jungkook stop crying, tears fell down from the corners of his eyes. He sniffled, staring up at Taehyung with his galaxy holding eyes which were more sparkly due to tears.

"I didn't know I was lost. I-I thought they changed the route to the building or something." Jungkook babbled, confused because he seriously didn't realise he came to an unknown direction.

Jungkook let out a sob. "You're so smart, Taehyung and m'so dumb. I got confused so I just sat there like Yoongi dad–" Jungkook hiccups. "Y-Yoongi dad said t-to sit." Hiccups. "-there where I got confused in finding." Hiccups. "Way to home." Hiccups.

Taehyung have never seen anyone this adorable before. His slender fingers raked through Jungkook's long locks, caressing the scalp.

"Little one, you did a good job by staying at a same place."

Taehyung tighten up his grip around Jungkook, picking up the boy who wrapped his arms around his neck.

"Let's go home now. You must be hungry and tired after this long day."
