At just 16 Dezzy finds herself all alone in the end of the world. She soon runs into a boy, but the meeting stays a secret till they meet again. The boy, Carl Grimes, would become her bestfriend, they survived together and lived the life they knew they had to. but what would you do if you met the love of your life in the apocalypse and he may not feel the same? Maybe they'll get a happy ending after all.
(I do want to add that both Carl and Dezzy are 16 when the book first begins)

His role model just so happened to be his dad's best friend and partner at the station, Shane Walsh. Carl was content with his life. What more could he want? Emily Walsh was a good girl.
