HK-47: The White Fang's Assassin

Chapter Fourteen - No One Is Untouchable

After a long journey, Adam and HK-47 reach an overpass overlooking the SDC Dust Mining Facility in Mistral. HK-47 readies his Blaster Rifle as he scans the area. He watches as a limo pulls up. 

HK-47: Statement: There is a well dressed meatbag exiting the limousine. He seems to hold a high position of power. 

Adam pulls out a pair of binoculars and surveys the area. He soon sees the well dressed man addressing his bodyguards. Adam immediately recognized the man. 

Adam: Almec Rook, the head supervisor of this facility. He treats his Faunus workers like animals. 

HK-47: Response: Seems like the perfect meatbag to kill, master. 

Adam: Get ready to move out. It's time we burned this slave pit to the ground.

HK-47: Statement: With pleasure, master!

With that, Adam and HK-47 readied heir weapons for the attack on the SDC Dust Mining Facility. Meanwhile, Almec Rook had entered his office. As he took a seat at his desk, he calls his secretary via intercom. 

Alemc: Grace? Is my meeting with Mr. Schnee still a go?

Grace(Intercom): Yes, Mr Rook! 

Almec: Thank you, Grace. 

As Almec looks over some files, he hears distant blaster fire outside his office. He brushed it off believing it to be some prank by some unruly employee. He walks over to his record player and plays a classical record. As the music blares in his office, Almec continues looking over his files, unaware of what has happening. As time passed by, the blaster fire grew louder and louder. Screams were soon heard just outside his office. Greatly annoyed by this, Almec turns off his record player and walks to the door. 

Almec: What the devil is going on out there?!

As Almec opens the door, he sees Adam and HK-47. Before he could react, HK-47 struck him in the face with his blaster rifle. Almec fell to the floor as Adam entered his office while HK-47 held him at gunpoint. 

Almec: Who do you think....

HK-47: Interjection: Silence, meatbag!

As HK-47 held Almec at gunpoint, Adam began trashing Almec's office. He then walked to his desk and looked over his files. 

Adam: It seems you made considerable profits, Almec Rook. How much of that was made off the Faunus who slave away in your mines?

Almec: Those are company employees! We pay them fairly!

Adam: You and I both know that's a lie. You pay them little if not at all. You work them like dogs in your mines. 

Almec: Who are you?!

Adam: I am Adam Taurus, High Leader of the White Fang. I've come here to exact justice for the Faunus. 

Almec: There...there must be some misunderstanding! Perhaps we can come to an understanding. I have money and powerful friends! 

Adam: Save your breath, Human. 

At this point, Almec grew more and more terrified in for his life. Adam then unsheathed his sword and aimed it at Almec. 

Almec: Y...you can't do this! I'm...I'm untouchable! I answer directly to Jacques Schnee himself! You can't touch me!

HK-47: Query: May I blast this insufferable meatbag, master? 

Adam: I have...other plans for him. Almec will serve as a message for the White Fang. In essence, he will be our scarecrow. He will be a message to all who stand against the White Fang.

HK-47: Statement: A scarecrow, you say? Most interesting, master.

Meanwhile in his manor in Atlas, Jacques Schnee was preparing for his meeting with Almec Rook. Suddenly, the TV in his office broadcasted a news report from the Vale News Network with Lisa Lavender. 

Lisa: Breaking news from Mistral! Moments ago, an SDC Dust Mining Facility has been raided by what appeared to be the White Fang! The Faunus work force who were employees at the Mining Facility seemed to have participated in this raid. Among those killed in the attack was high ranking SDC supervisor Almec Rook. Viewer's discretion advised. The images you're about to see are violent. 

The news report then cuts to images of the carnage left behind by Adam and HK-47. Jacques looked on with horror as the carnage of the raid was displayed. The last image show was that of a man skinned on display. Pinned to his chest was a sign written in blood. The sign read "No one is untouchable." The sign also displayed a blood drawing of the White Fang's insignia. 

Lisa: We have unconfirmed reports that Adam Taurus was responsible for this raid. We will deliver more on this as the situation develops. 

As the broadcast concluded, Jacques was in a state of shock and horror. One of his closest allies had been killed in a most brutal fashion. This attack sent a powerful message to Jacques. This showed that he was in fact not as untouchable as he believed. Meanwhile at the ruins of the SDC Dust Mining Facility, Adam and HK-47 led the Faunus work force in a march back to their camp. 

HK-47: Statement: That was a rather entertaining raid, master! Your cruelty knows no bounds! I knew you'd make a wonderful master!

Adam: We're only just beginning, HK. Soon, the White Fang shall lead the Faunus in the glorious revolution to come! The Faunus will finally break free from their chains of oppression and rise up against the Humans!

In that moment, the numbers of the White Fang grew. This raid sent a powerful message across Remnant. It showed the the White Fang was ready to inflict unimaginable cruelty on it's enemies in the name of the Faunus Revolution.
