HK-47: The White Fang's Assassin

Chapter Twenty - A Fair Warning

The execution of the Schnees sent shockwaves across all of Atlas. The White Fang Empire has been declared one of the most dangerous threats to not only Atlas, but to all of Remnant. Adam Taurus soon established the Schnee Manor as a base of operations for the White Fang Empire's invasion of Atlas. As the White Fang Empire prepared for their attack, Cinder Fall approached the Manor which now bore White Fang flags. On the rooftop of the Manor, HK-47 takes aim with his Blaster Rifle. As he was about to take the shot, he recognizes her. Interested, HK-47 contacts Adam. 

HK-47: Statement: There's a meatbag approaching the manor, Master.

Adam(Comlink): Can you identify?

HK-47: Answer: It's the meatbag who responsible for the attack on Beacon. 

Adam(Comlink): Cinder Fall. Bring her to me alive.

HK-47: Response: Understood, Master. 

With his orders given, HK-47 jumps from the roof of the Manor and approaches Cinder Fall. He then aims his Blaster Rifle at Cinder. 

Cinder: So Adam's faithful little robot has come to greet me? 

HK-47: Commentary: My Master has ordered me to bring you before him alive. Try any thing and I will shoot you down, meatbag. 

With that, Cinder followed HK-47. As they approached the entrance to the manor, Cinder could see the impaled bodies of Jacques Schnee along with Willow and Whitley. Cinder paid it no mind as HK-47 led her into the manor. As they reached the main hall, Adam and the Sword Of The Faunus meet her. 

Cinder: Adam Taurus. So this is what you've been doing all this time. 

Adam: Why have you sought us out? 

Cinder: You were bold to abandon the plan we agreed to. We gave you the means to build your....empire, but you didn't live up to your end of the bargain.

Adam: I told you before that I refuse to have my people die for a human cause. Now I will ask you again. Why are you here? 

Cinder: You might've betrayed us, but I still see potential in you and your...White Fang Empire. Swear your loyalty to Salem and all shall be forgiven. 

As Cinder said this, Adam raised his fist. This gesture makes HK-47 aim his Blaster Rifle at Cinder while the Sword Of The Faunus raised their swords at her. In response to this show of force, Cinder's right eye her lights up with flames as she conjures a fireball in her right hand. Cinder smiles as HK-47 and the Sword Of The Faunus kept their weapons trained on her. 

Cinder: It seems your recent successes have made you arrogant, Taurus. Can you and your band of thugs take on the Fall Maiden? 

HK-47: Anaysis: My targeting computers have already scanned your vital areas. The first shot will immobilize you and the second will spill your slippery components onto the floor. I doubt your Maiden powers is faster than my Blaster Rifle or my targeting computer. 

In that moment, it seemed as if a fight would break out between Cinder and the White Fang. Before a fight could break out, Adam gestures both HK-47 and the Sword Of The Faunus lowered their weapons. 

Adam: Under normal circumstances, I would've had you killed. You might have these new powers, but as far as I know, you don't fight for a cause. You're just someone else's lapdog. 

Upon hearing this, Cinder fell silent as she glared over to Adam. She glared at him with a small smirk on her face. 

Cinder: You don't want to make my master an enemy, Taurus. She'll burn your pathetic empire to the ground. She wipe you all off the face of Remnant. And when all is said and done, you and your so called empire will be nothing but a footnote if you'll even be remembered at all.

HK-47: Query: Can I shoot this meatbag already? I find her ramblings most excruciating. 

Adam: No. I have something else in mind for her. Cinder Fall. I know the White Fang was nothing more than a blunt instrument for you and your master. I know you would cast us out the moment we've fulfilled our usefulness. 

Cinder: How very perceptive. 

Adam: But the White Fang is not a blunt instrument for you to use at your disposal. We are legion. We are a force of nature. The only reason I let you live is so you can run back to your master and tell her that the White Fang are not your slaves. The White Fang Empire bows to no one. 

With that, the Sword Of The Faunus formed up in front of Adam Taurus. As Adam gave his message, Cinder chuckled. 

Cinder: You have no idea of the enemy you've just made. You've just sealed your fate and the fate of your empire. 

Adam: Run to your master before I cut you in half and turn you into my personal scarecrow. 

Cinder smirked as she walked away. No attempt was made on her life as every White Fang warrior allowed her to leave. HK-47 then voiced his opinion to Adam. 

HK-47: Query: You're letting her go? Very dicey decision, Master. 

Adam: She'll be dealt with soon enough. Once Atlas falls, Cinder and her allies will be dealt with. 

Adam soon turned to the White Fang warriors. 

Adam: Brothers and sisters! Arm yourselves! We march for the Atlas Academy! 

In that moment, Adam had his forces arm themselves for battle. As the White Fang Empire armed for battle, Adam Taurus and HK-47 as well as the White Fang Army into the stolen SDC Airship and set a course for the Atlas Academy.
