HK-47: The White Fang's Assassin

Chapter Twenty Eight - Amongst The Ruins

As both Ruby's group and Salem's faction began moving against the White Fang Empire, Adam Taurus was creating his fleet using the power of the Star Forge. It wasn't long before Adam had a fully functional fleet at his disposal. Word of the destruction of Atlas spreads across Remnant like wild fire. This inspires many Faunus uprisings all over Remnant. During the course of this war, Adam's clothing became more and more tattered. His iconic Grimm Mask had been shattered. Using one of the countless consoles on the Star Forge, Adam forged himself a new armor that he would wear. He created a set of robes that were very reminiscent of the Darth Revan's robes. He then formed his iconic Grimm mask out of a stronger material. In a sense, Adam felt himself being reborn into a stronger leader that would lead the White Fang Empire. At the Star Forge's command center, Adam was planning the conquest of Remnant. As he planned his conquest, HK-47 enters the room. 

HK-47: Statement: It would appear that the control terminal for the Atlesian Droids was undamaged. 

Adam: Good. 

HK-47: Query: What next, Master? What shall we kill next?

Adam: I have been looking into Ironwood's files. It seems the late headmaster of Beacon Academy was at the head of this shadow war. I have a special assignment for you. 

HK-47: Query: Who do you need killing, Master?

Adam: It seems Ironwood has kept tabs on the current Spring Maiden. A thief by the name of Raven Branwen. She is the leader of a bandit tribe located somewhere in Mistral. I want you to find her and bring her to me. 

HK-47: Query: Dead or alive?

Adam: Alive. Based on what I've read, the one who inherits the powers of the Maiden is the woman she shares in her final thoughts. I want her brought to me alive. I have plans for her.

HK-47: Statement: It will be done, Master. I will bring back this meatbag to you unharmed....mostly. 

Adam: As long as she's brought to me alive, that is all that matters. The biggest advantage we have is neither faction knows of her location. If we can find her and acquire her powers, then we will continue to have the advantage over our enemies and the White Fang Empire will become stronger. The Star Forge shall grant us a fleet the likes of which Remnant has never seen. Even the Atlas Military will pale in comparison. 

HK-47: Statement: It will be a glorious day when the might of the White Fang Empire crushes the meatbags into submission! 

With that, HK-47 left the command center. He took an airship and sets out for Mistral in search for Raven Branwen. As HK-47 left, Adam stepped out of the command center and made his way to a large gathering of White Fang troopers. Adam looked upon the large gathering of Faunus who bore the colors of the White Fang with pride. Surrounded by Samanya and the Sword Of The Faunus, Adam addressed his fellow Faunus. 

Adam: Faunus! My brothers and sisters of the sword! Much time has passed since we've embarked on this journey. Now look where we are now. Atlas is in flames! All of Remnant now quivers in fear of us! But our struggle is far from over! Despite all our victories, we must not lose sight on the cause that so many of our brothers and sisters gave their lives for! The White Fang Empire is surrounded by enemies who wish to destroy everything that we have built! As we speak, our brothers and sisters are rising up against the Humans all over Remnant! Our victories have given them the strength they need to raise their fist in the air and strike back against their oppressors! 

The men and women of the White Fang Empire began to cheer for their leader. Adam raised his fists to silence them. 

Adam: We are legion. The White Fang Empire is an empire devoted to uplifting the Faunus. No longer will the Faunus be reduced to slaves! No longer will the Faunus be mistreated! No longer will the Faunus face oppression! We must continue our fight! With the power of the Star Forge, we will lay waste to every single Human stronghold in Remnant! All the Kingdoms shall bow in fear of the Faunus! 

With that, the men and women of the White Fang Empire cheered for their leader. As the Star Forge continued to create airships for the White Fang Empire, Adam continued planning out his conquest. Meanwhile in the forests of Mistral, Raven Branwen and her tribe were still laying low after the incident at Haven Academy. They had abandoned their previous camp and finished setting up camp in another part of Mistral. Raven soon caught word of Adam Taurus and his knowledge on the Maidens. In her private tent, Raven contemplated her next move. She was aware of the possibility of Adam Taurus finding out about her and making her a target. In response to his, Raven spoke to her chief lieutenants. 

Raven: From this point on, all operations will be conducted with upmost secrecy. As far as anyone is concerned, the Branwen Tribe no longer exists. Kill anyone who comes near our camp. I want nothing left to chance. 

As Raven increased security in her camp, what she didn't know was that HK-47 was hunting her down. It wouldn't be long before the current Spring Maiden would be confronted by HK-47.
