Since it's inception, the White Fang has set out to fight for the rights of the Faunus that face discrimination. In recent years, the White Fang began moving towards a violent approach. Adam Taurus is a rising star in the White Fang. During one patrol, he comes across a crashed starship.

Adam: Doesn't look like an Atlas carrier.

The ship looked strange to the Bull Faunus. He had never seen any ship quite like this one. He entered the ship while keeping his hand on his sword. As he entered the ship, he saw skeletal remains scattered around the ship.

Adam: What did this?

Adam soon came across a deactivated HK-47. The Droid showed signs of damage his body. Adam inspected the Droid to see if he could be salvaged for spare parts. As he did, Adam inadvertently activated HK-47. A low hum was heard as his circuits began powering him up. Soon enough, his eyes glowed orange as he turned his attention to Adam who readied his sword.

HK-47: Diagnostic: HK-47 activated. Running checks through primary systems. Assessment: It appears I have suffered considerable damage. I can feel all the cracks in my motivators. And my central control cluster seems to have taken several repeated blaster shots at both close range and long range. Such sloppy groupings. How dreadful.

Adam: Who are you? What are you?

HK-47: Answer: I am HK-47. I am an Assassin Droid built specifically for the assassination of organic meatbags. Assessment: It would seem that you have reactivated me after my period of premature deactivation.

Adam: What are you talking about?

HK-47 then proceeds to look through the time of his deactivation. After a moment of silence, the Assassin Droid answers.

HK-47: Assessment: My deactivation was approximately 3000 years ago. Based on that time gap, it is most likely that my previous master is long since dead. How unfortunate. I actually liked this one.

Adam became more and more confused by this Droid. Despite this, he kept his calm composure. HK-47 looked around and saw the skeletal remains.

HK-47: Statement: At least I was able to kill these insufferable meatbags before my deactivation. I just wished I was still active when this ship crashed and see their faces as they writhed in pain on the floor.

Adam: What happened to you?

HK-47: Answer: After I was defeated, I was picked up by a group of scavengers hoping to salvage me for spare parts and sell them to some undeserving meatbag. A moronic and disastrous mistake on their part. Reflection: Of course that brought satisfaction to me when I recovered and began slaughtering the meatbags on board the ship. Though it would seem that my efforts to kill the meatbags backfired spectacularly and now I'm here on some deserted planet in the middle of nowhere.

Adam: You're not on some deserted planet. You're in Remnant.

HK-47: Query: Remnant? I am not familiar with that planet. There's no record in any database of that planet's existence. And my database is rather thorough if I say so myself.

HK-47 then proceeds to scan Adam to his confusion. He kept his sword ready in case HK-47 was about to attack. The bodies here were evident of his combat prowess. Though in this carnage, he saw a potential asset for the White Fang.

HK-47: Observation: It would seem that you are responsible for my activation. The fact that you were able to activate me at all without accidentally exterminating your own life is rather extraordinary. I'm rather impressed with that accomplishment. Conclusion: With the obvious death of my previous master and the fact that you activated me, it would appear that you are now my new master.

Upon hearing this, it became clear to Adam that HK-47 could be an invaluable asset to the White Fang in their fight for the Faunus.

Adam: I am Adam Taurus of the White Fang. What are you functions, HK-47?

HK-47: Recitation: I am an Assassin Droid. It is my primary function to burn holes in sentient meatbags that you wished to be removed, master. My assassination protocols have been fully upgraded to exterminator standards. I am a paragon of brutal efficiency. Statement: Whatever meatbag you wish to be killed, I will be more than happy to oblige.

At this point, HK-47 swore his loyalty to Adam Taurus. Adam quickly realized that he a great and terrible power at his beck and call. Adam was quick to accept HK-47's offer.

HK-47: Query: Is there someone that you need killed, master?

Adam: Not yet. But you'll have more than enough opportunities to kill my enemies and enemies of the White Fang. For now, we'll head back to the camp. You'll get your assignment soon enough, HK-47.

HK-47 took note of Adam's word. It became clear to the Assassin Droid that his assassination protocol would be put to good use.

HK-47: Commentary: Something approaching joy is now growing in my behavior core. My circuits are a-buzz with anticipation for your assignments. I can already tell that we're going to get along very well. This should be fun. HK-47 is ready to serve you, master.

In that moment, Adam Taurus had become HK-47's new master. Adam saw an opportunity in HK-47 to advance the cause of the Faunus and make them a force to be reckoned with. On that day, a deadly partnership was born between Adam Taurus of the White Fang and HK-47.
