HK-47: The White Fang's Assassin

Chapter Twelve - Bloodbath

Outside the Belladonna Household, HK-47 begins firing his Blaster Rifle at Sun, who ducks for cover.

Sun: So the White Fang hates humans, but are cool with robots?! Talk about a double standard!

HK-47: Correction: I hate all organic meatbags equally with the exception of the master.

Sun: I hope your master is good at repairs cause I'm about to scrap you!

Sun then uses his Via Sun Semblance from behind cover and summons two yellow glowing clones of himself. Immediately, HK-47 becomes interested.

HK-47: Observation: Your Semblance is like the meatbag Blake Belladonna.

The clones began attacking HK-47. Despite being outnumbered, HK-47 was able to hold his own. He runs diagnostic scans on the clones and found no life signs. He then sees Sun sitting still behind cover. HK-47 then fires a barrage of blaster shots towards Sun. One of the blaster shots grazes Sun's shoulder, breaking his concentration. This causes the clones to dissipate. Sun quickly recovers and readies Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang.

Sun: Okay....this is bad.

HK-47: Commentary: You have no idea, meatbag.

Sun then begins attacking the Assassin Droid with Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang, but the attacks do little to no damage. Soon enough, HK-47 overpowered Sun and began to viciously beat him down with his Blaster Rifle. During the merciless beatdown, HK-47 began to interrogate Sun.

HK-47: Query: Where is the meatbag Blake Belladonna?

Sun: I'm not telling you anything!

Upon hearing this, HK-47 began to explore alternate methods of interrogation. Meanwhile, Blake was fighting Ilia inside the household. During a drawn out fight, Ilia began to slowly question herself as she felt her resolve weaken. 

Blake: Ilia...please. You're a good person but you're making all the wrong decisions!

Ilia: SHUT UP!!

Blake: Is this really what your parents would've wanted?!

At that point, Ilia broke down. Her resolve had been broken and she lost the will to fight. Blake soon moved in to comfort her. Suddenly, Sun is thrown through a window and into the room. As a bloodied and beaten Sun crawls towards Blake, he looks up at her with a smile.

Sun: Blake....

Suddenly, Sun is shot in the back, killing him. Blake was horrified as HK-47 enters the room. He steps over Sun's body without a hint of remorse. 

Blake: You....

HK-47: Commentary: I've had to kill a lot of meatbags to get to you. My mission is to capture you and deliver you to Adam Taurus. As for your parents, they'll be executed for crimes against the Faunus. 

At that point, Blake dropped to her knees. She felt despair running through her as HK-47 slowly walked towards her. Soon enough, Ilia stepped in. 

HK-47: Query: What do you think you are doing?

Ilia: This...this isn't right! This isn't what the White Fang is!

At this point, HK-47 grew annoyed at Ilia. 

HK-47: Reminder: Did I not tell you of what would happen if you stood in my way?

Without warning, HK-47 turned his Blaster Rifle and shot Ilia in the chest. The force of the shot knocks Ilia on her back. Blake then rushes over to the dying Ilia.

Blake: Ilia....

Ilia: Blake....I'm sorry.....

Ilia quickly succumbed to her wounds as she died in Blake's arms. In the span of a few quick moments, HK-47 had killed two people close to her. Her fear soon turned to anger as she grabbed Ilia's Lightning Lash and used it along with Gambol Shroud to attack HK-47. HK-47 was surprised at how Blake was able to do damage on the droid.

HK-47: Commentary: I've never seen this much fight in you, meatbag. No wonder my master desires you. 

Blake was overcome with rage as she continued to attack the Assassin Droid. During the attack, a wounded Ghira rallied what remained of his supporters and pushed back the White Fang. Soon enough, Ghira gathered his forces and surrounded HK-47.

Ghira: You've failed, droid. Your master has failed. 

HK-47 surveyed the room. It became quickly apparent that the operation had failed. HK-47 knew that he had no way of salvaging the mission. HK-47 was quick to express his annoyance. 

HK-47: Commentary: My master will not be pleased at this. 

Blake: You're surrounded, HK-47. There's no way you can win. 

HK-47: Correction: I still have one last trick to play, meatbag.

Without warning, HK-47 pulled out several thermal detonators and threw them. The resulting explosion killed a good portion of Ghira's forces, but failed to kill Blake or Ghira. However, the explosion allowed HK-47 to escape. As HK-47 made his getaway, Blake walked out of the house and addressed the people of Menagerie. As she began to rally them, HK-47 made his escape. After getting away, HK-47 begins to initiate self repairs on the damages he sustained during the battle. He then contacts Adam via comlink.

Adam(Comlink): What is it?

HK-47: Answer: The mission was a failure, Master. I was unable to capture Blake Belladonna or kill her family. The meatbags you tasked with helping me greatly hindered me. 

Adam(Comlink): This is most disappointing, HK. Get back to base. We'll discuss this more. 

With that, communications ended between HK-47 and Adam. Despite the mission ending in failure, HK-47's bloodbath had left it's impact on Blake and her family. Kali Bellandonna was left paralyzed by HK-47. Sun Wukong and Ilia Amitola were among the countless casualties in the attack. While Blake and Ghira sustained minor injuries, the attack left them mentally drained. Despite this, Blake was now more determined than ever to fight the White Fang. She would need help in this fight. Help would come from the fractured Team RWBY. For now, HK-47 would make his way back to the White Fang base to plan their next move.
