Lucy's POV
Around the 4th week of Summer Holiday my legs regained their full strength. Every day Severus helped me move around the house and as grateful as I am for him being so caring, I was overjoyed that I could walk on my own again.
It was currently two days before school would start. I spent a few nights at Jennie's during the time my legs started working again and we went shopping together. For the past week, however, I was down in Severus study with him almost all day long as I prepped for my exams. I actually preferred studying in his office rather than my own room, it was nice to have him there when I had a question regarding something in my subjects and it just overall created more of a comfortable atmosphere to not be alone in the room while working.

"Ready?" Severus asked and extended his arm. I nodded.
We apparated to Hogwarts and Severus told me he'd wait for me in his personal chambers after I finish all my exams.
"Good to see you Lucy." Mcgonagall greeted me as I entered the empty great hall. It had a single desk sitting at the front and I was told how much time I would have for each exam right as I took my seat.
I got a 20 minute break in between them. All of them went pretty well, especially potions because Severus practiced with me a lot.
Eventually it was getting dark out and my last exam was over. I quietly thanked Mcgonagall and headed down to spend the night in Severus personal chambers.

"Lucy, I missed you!" Jennie called as she got out of the train and ran towards me to hug her.
"You won't believe what happened on the train, come on I'll tell you during the feast." She walked with me to the carriages that would take us to the castle.
Once we were seated, she began telling me about the Dementor that entered the train. Apparently they were sent from Azkaban to guard the castle.
"From what are they guarding it?" I asked.
"You didn't hear? Sirius black escaped. He is super dangerous, I heard and the dementors are here to make sure that he does not get onto the castle grounds." Jennie explained, a glint of fear in here eyes.
"I really hope a dangerous criminal like him won't get into Hogwarts."
A shiver ran down my spine, that really does not sound good. And to be honest, dementors freaked me out a little. I had read about them and about how they suck your soul out.
After the feast I headed straight to the dungeons and my fathers chambers. I hope he could maybe enlighten me a little more about this Sirius Black guy.
I knocked and after I heard a "come in" I let myself in.
Severus was sitting at his table, one hand massaging his temple and the other holding a newspaper.
"I'm guessing that article is about Sirius Black?" I hesitantly asked.
Severus had a scowl on his face and slowly nodded. "Come take a seat, there is some things you need to know." He motioned for me to sit down on the empty chair next to him.
"That is him." He pointed at the moving picture of a man with medium long wavy hair and a prison uniform.
"He went to school with me while I was attending Hogwarts. I don't know if I am supposed to tell you this, but I think you deserve to know. He was the one that sold out Potters parents to the dark lord." I was confused why he wasn't calling him 'he who shall not be named' or Voldemort like everyone else does, but I decided to shake it off.
"He is also Harry's godfather. Do not tell him that you hear me? I fear that Black has come to kill Harry and that is the reason all these Dementors are here to guard the castle."
I looked at Severus wide eyed. "But we need to warn Harry! Or at least somehow protect him."
"That is what the dementors are there for, they are guarding the castle from every angle possible. Listen Lucy, I know you will want to warn your friend but knowing Potters character he will probably end up looking for Black and get himself killed."
I sighed, understanding why it was probably best to just not mention any of this to Harry and hope the dementors take care of Sirius Black.
I was about to get up and go to my dorm when I felt Severus gently take a hold of my writs. "There is one more thing."
I sat back down and nodded, signalling that he can explain what it is he wants to tell me.
"You probably know a bit about Dementors already and how merciless they can be. I don't want you accidentally getting hurt by one of them, do you know what charm is used against them?" He asked me.
"The patronus charm right? But that one is really difficult I heard." I said.
"Correct, but I think that with some practice you would definitely be capable of conjuring it. I was thinking that for the next few of our private lessons I will be teaching you it." Severus explained.
"Alright." I smiled. "I'm looking forward to it, I wonder what mine looks like."
A/N What do you guys think her patronus should be :)?
