A/N This chapter is a bit longer hehe

Lucy's POV

It was the first day of summer break and I had planned to spend the second week at Ron's house because his parents were going to the Quidditch world cup with their family. Jennie and I were invited by Terence and his family to go, so we figured it was best for all our friends to meet up at the burrow and then travel there together by portkey.

I didn't bother to fully unpack my clothes, rather I moved them from my trunk to a backpack that I would bring to the Weasleys house. Honestly I didn't know what team to support for the world cup, but I knew the Irish were green and I had many green clothes to represent my house so I settled on bringing those.

The week went by very quickly, Severus and I mostly went for walks during the day and I practiced my magic a bit when it got dark out to make sure nobody would see. We also finished the last book in that series he bought last year.

"If anything happens come straight home you hear me." Severus warned as I was about to leave through the front door.

"Okay, I'll see you next week then." I smiled at him and he smiled back, embracing me into a tight hug. I waved behind me while I walked out and Jennie's driver was already waiting for me.

"Hey." She greeted me when I got into the back seat. She was wearing a beautiful black dress, black heels and had her hair up in a high ponytail with a black bow.

"You are probably wondering why I am dressed so formally." She giggled. "I just got back from Malfoy Manor, my dad is acquainted with them and they invited us over for dinner." Jennie explained and proceeded to unravel the bow and let her long black hair fall over her pale shoulders. She took off the heels and put on some fluffy slippers over her tights.

"Much better." She smiled.

"I have some clothes to change into once we arrive at the Burrow, I will definitely stand out if I wear this dress." She chuckled. The whole way to the Weasleys we talked about how excited we were for the world cup and how amazing the players must be.

Once we arrived, Molly Weasley greeted us with open arms. "Welcome dears, your friends are already all here you two can go up to the first floor where the girls will be sleeping in Ginny's room."

"Thank you Miss Weasley." Jennie thanked and started walking up the stairs. "Oh you can call me Molly dear!" She called after us.

When we opened the door to Ginny's room, her and Hermione were already seated on a bed and braiding each others hair.

"Hey guys." Ginny greeted with a smile and patted the empty space next to her. Jennie and I both put our bags next to the door and went to sit down and hug both of the girls. We spent the majority of the day up in this room and laughed and joked around. Later, Ginny got a large mattress that she placed on the ground.

"I hope it is okay you two will share this, Hermione and I will stay in my bed." I nodded and Jennie also seemed fine with the idea.

At dinner I greeted the boys who were staying in Ron's room and while we were eating Ron's brothers Fred and George messed around with some firecrackers that caused all of us to erupt in laughter while Molly scolded them and Arthur just sat there with a grin on his face.

The whole atmosphere was so warm and welcoming.

The next few days we played quidditch outside. Harry was the 'captain' of one team and Ginny of the other because they were by far the best players. We were randomly allocated to either one of their teams by putting our names in a hat and the two captains went up and picked an equal number out.

"My first person is Fred." Harry announced and the boy cheerfully walked over to Harry's side.

"I got Terence." Ginny smirked. Even though he quit the team last year, we all knew he was very skilled.

"Hermione." Harry announced and she slowly made her way over. I could tell she wasn't too fond of this whole quidditch idea.

Ginny ended up getting Ron and I while Harry got Jennie and George.

"That's unfair they got one more person than us." Ron complained, pointing at the other team.

"How about I be the referee then, I don't really want to play to be honest." Hermione admitted and we all nodded in agreement "Alright, that is fair then." Ron said and got onto his broom.

We both gave the others ten minutes to go get ready on opposite side of the field and discuss a strategy.

To make it easier to distinguish the two teams, we split into two colours. Harry's team was orange and we were purple. We each got a bandana in our teams colour that we would wear. Terence put his around his neck while Ron wore it around his head and Ginny did the same. I decided to wrap mine around my wrist and then we began making a strategy.

"Okay I think I should be chaser, Ron should be keeper. Terence, you used to be a seeker right?" Ginny looked at him and he nodded, fastening his bandana.

"On second thought, maybe I should try beater for this time. Lucy, you haven't played quidditch before correct?" She asked me.

"Yeah, sorry. I do know the rules but I've never really played." I admitted.

"No problem, how about you be chaser then. All you need to do is attempt to get the Quaffle into the goal hoops." Ginny explained while holding a ball and then pointing to the goals in the distance.

"Harry is definitely going to be seeker, so Terence keep a constant watch on him. Ron, you are a skilled keeper so just do what you always do. Either Fred or George will be a beater so I will try and deal with them, that leaves Jennie to either be a keeper or a chaser." Ginny explained.

She gave me some basic tips of what I should look out for and soon enough the match began. Hermione being the referee released the balls and the game started.

Ginny was correct about everyones placement and it seemed like Jennie was a keeper so I had to face Fred as a chaser. He smirked at me and of course was first to take a hold of the Quaffle.

He rushed over to our goal and managed to get it through despite Ron's efforts to block it.

"Ten points to team Orange!" Hermione calls from the side of the field and wrote the score down on a piece of paper.

In the distance I could see Terence and Harry going neck to neck, they must have already spotted the snitch. Once again Fred managed to get the Quaffle but this time Ron kicks it away with his foot while Ginny and I cheer for him, Terence still busy following Harry.

Suddenly I managed to actually get the ball for once and head to the other side as fast as possible. I had flown on a broom before, but never at this kind of speed. I see Jennie at the goals on her broom, she shoots me a smirk and I return it. With all my strength I throw the ball at the goal and actually manage to score.

"Ten points for team purple!"

The game continued on like this, I managed to score two more times and now the scores were 50 for our team and 40 for the other team.

I got the Quaffle again and Fred chased me across the whole field when I hear Hermione scream "Terence got the snitch! Team purple wins!"

With a smug grin I fly away from Fred and down to my team that was congratulating Terence. I got off my broom and patted him on the back "That was great." I smiled.

"Nice job out there! You should really consider joining the team you know. But I think maybe you would be ever better suited as a seeker, you have great control of your broom at high speeds but your aiming when you throw is a bit off." Terence told me as we walked back into the middle of the field to meet with the other team.

"You sure? I mean maybe I should, I don't know." I was honestly not sure if I should join or not. I did have a ton of fun out there, so maybe I should try out for it next year.

"I agree! If you join the team I will be sure to cheer you on at the sidelines during every game." Jennie grinned.
