Lucy's POV
The yule ball was approaching and since the first trial Harry still hasn't talked to me. I wanted to tell him that I am not mad about what he did, but maybe it was best for me to keep myself at a slight distance considering what was to come in the near future.
Ron was also still a bit distant towards him, but not the same as before.
So far, none of my friends had found a date yet. Jennie and I contemplated if we should even go because we didn't think anyone was going to ask us.
"The only reason I want to go to this ball now is to have an excuse to go dress shopping." She laughed.
"I agree, let's go do it on Saturday and hopefully by the time the ball will begin someone will have asked us." I said.
So on the following Saturday, we both went down to a clothing store in Hogsmeade that had some beautiful dresses.
Jennie was quick to pick a tight fitting emerald green dress that went all the way down to the floor and had an opening at the side of her leg.
It took me a bit longer, but I eventually settled for a black sleeveless dress that went down to just above my kneecaps. It had some black sparkling rhinestones lined along it.
"Wow, you look beautiful." Jennie complimented as she looked at me in the mirror after helping me zip the back. "This is definitely the one."

Right the next day, Jennie was asked by Terence to go with her. I was happy for both of them because I knew that they were both worried about not finding a date.
Hermione eventually got asked too and by the one and only Viktor Krum. I wasn't sure how it was going with Harry and Ron, but I still didn't have a date.
During study hall I was sitting with Terence and was talking about quidditch with him.
"You know, I really wanted to try out this year but I guess now with the whole tournament thing going on I guess I will have to wait until next year."
Terence nodded. "I think next year I will try out again too, I actually really miss playing nowadays."
From across the room I could see Severus walking towards Harry and Ron who were talking and joking around together. I guess they must have made up.
Severus was the Professor who would be observing study hall today and I knew he had an even bigger disliking towards Harry after what he made me do, so once he was standing behind the two boys he smacked them with a book. I couldn't help but let out a giggle. Terence joined in.
I saw Harry and Ron keep talking with each other and I knew Severus would not let them through with that.
He saw me looking at him and he smirked for a second. He knew this would make me laugh and I was so ready, Terence included.
He pulled his sleeves up slightly and forced one of his hands onto Harry's head and the other onto Ron's, pushing them down and telling them to "be quiet."
I tried so hard not to laugh out loud because I knew internally Severus was really enjoying this.

I was sitting alone in the common room and working on some assignments, when I felt a light tap on my shoulder.
I turned my head around and saw Draco there by himself looking a little nervous.
"Yes?" I asked, turning around fully to face the boy.
"Um...the ball." He started and cleared his throat. "Well I heard no ones asked you yet, I figured I should...you know."
I tilted my head, pretending to be confused.
He looked a little agitated but that just made me giggle.
"Sure, I'll go with you." I smiled.
He didn't know what to say I think, so all he said was "good", spun on his heel and sprinted towards where his dorm room was.
