Lucy's POV
For the next few days I steered clear of Harry. Partly because he seemed really stressed so I wanted to give him some free space, but also because of that death eater. If Karkaroff really did put his name in the goblet then I must pretend to be on the death eaters side, even if I don't want to. But another reason was that since today, I was starting to feel very weak. Was I getting sick again?
During D.A.D.A we were learning Hex deflection and when Terence sent one my way I almost fell over trying to deflect it. I became really lightheaded and then when it was Jennies turn to send one over to me I actually fell over.
They told me I should go to the nurse and when I did she said it was probably just fatigue and I should rest.
I went to my dorm room and when Terence and Jennie left again to go back to class I felt a jab at my stomach. It wasn't strong, but it was definitely there. I crawled into bed and instantly fell asleep because of how tired this was making me feel.
I was woken by someone shaking me. My eyes flew open and I noticed that I was feeling really hot so I threw my blanket off of me.
"Hey, it's just me." It was Jennie who woke me.
"You look worse than you did in class today." She sighed, rubbing my back. "I just woke you up because dinner started, but you really don't look well do you maybe want me to get your dad?"
"No, maybe let me just sleep a bit more. I don't want him to worry." I told her.
"Okay, but if it get's any worse I am gonna get him." Jennie warned and before she left she handed me a cold glass of water.
I sipped it slowly, allowing it to cool me down. Because I was still feeling really weak I fell straight back asleep again.
This time I had a dream though. I couldn't quite tell what was going on, it was like I was in a haze but I could tell that what was going on around me was bad. I felt extreme heat and fear, but all I saw was blurry bright lights.
When I woke up I shot up and let out a heavy breath. My breathing was really quick and I could feel the sweat falling from my forehead. Someone was holding me tight, I recognised this embrace. It was Severus.
"I walked in and saw you twisting and turning, I got your dad. Lucy I think you have a temperature." I heard Jennie say. She sounded really worried. I looked up at Severus who also looked concerned.
"Let's get you to the nurse, come on." He picked me up and carried me in his arms up to the nurses wing. I didn't even bother this time to ask to walk by myself, I felt so weak right now.
"Everything is going to be okay, we will have you taken care of." Severus whispered so only I could hear.
I was placed in a hospital bed. Oh how I despised being here. The nurse confirmed that I had a high temperature and ordered me to get loads of rest.
"Can I please not stay here to rest? I want to go back to my own bed." I pleaded. I really did not want to stay in the hospital anymore.
"That works, but you need someone to be around just in case." The nurse explained and Jennie volunteered to look after me but Severus was quick to jump in.
"She can stay in my room, you have class tomorrow and I want her in bed all day." He said to Jennie as Madame Pomfrey dabbed my forehead with a cold wet cloth.
He picked me up the same way as before and down to his room. He gently placed me down in his bed and as he was about to put the covers over me I pushed them back away with my legs.
"I can't, I feel so warm." I said weakly.
"Let me get you a thinner blanket then, you are definitely not sleeping without one." He told me and left the room, then returning with the blanket that he kept on his couch.
He placed a bucket of cold water on the dresser and dunked a towel in it, then place that on my head.
