The following Saturday, all Canisclan members met in the Room of Requirement. Everyone was chattering excitedly, telling the others what element they'd chosen.

Mioha felt her nervousness fade as she watched the students sit down on their cushions, many looking at her in anticipation. Over the course of the week, she had gotten many claps on the shoulder from the Canisclan members, the old ones as well as the newcomers. It seemed as if the prospect of learning something that the Death Eaters weren't prepared to fight, was lightening the mood and giving them hope.

Even the professors noticed, and they often found, to their surprise, several Slytherins mingling with Gryffindors, Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs, discussing something obviously private in low tones.
But no matter who the teachers asked, the Canisclan members wouldn't tell. And the non-members didn't know.

"So, we're doing this just as we planned, right?", Mioha asked Hermione in a low tone, her eyes roaming over their chattering classmates.

"Yup. You divide them into four groups."
Her tone was patient, as if she sensed her friend's nervousness despite them going over the plan four times the day before.

"And I'll start with the fire group", Mioha continued quietly, folding her arms to stop herself from twitching around constantly.
"Because that element is still the most complicated of the four."

"Harry got the basics of earth pretty well", said Hermione calmly, "so he'll start with them until you finished instructing the fire group. Ron will do the same with air, and I'll start with the water group."

Mioha breathed out in relief.
"You have no idea how much you're helping me."

"Of course."
Hermione smiled warmly.
"We're not leaving you alone in this."

Harry, Ron and Ginny joined the two girls, waiting for the excited students to calm down. But that didn't seem likely, considering the enthusiasm with which they were talking about the element they'd chosen.

"Guys", Mioha started and cleared her throat. "Hello-"
She looked around embarrassedly as no one seemed to pay attention to her.
Taking a deep breath, Mioha raised her fingers to her lips- and whistled sharply.

It got quiet instantaneously.

"Evening", said Mioha, relieved that they could start now.
"So, I assume everyone's got their element picked?"

Heads nodded.

"And you're all completely sure about your choice?"
