The day of the second task had arrived.
Harry had taken the egg into the Prefect's bathroom to listen to the riddle himself, and had ended up getting stuck in a trick stair.
Luckily, Professor Moody had helped him out, although he had asked to keep Harry's Marauders' map for the moment.
Mioha couldn't put her finger on it, but she really had a bad feeling about the Auror. Every time she had the feeling she was about to remember, it slipped away.

A week before the task, and after reading countless of books, Mioha had remembered that Professor Moody had given Neville a book on plants.

Aquatic plants.

And it turned out, Gillyweed was exactly what Harry needed. The person who ate it would obtain the skill to breathe and swim like a fish for exactly an hour, although Mioha was worried about what would happen if Harry wouldn't make it to the surface in time.

Harry had also told her why Hermione had been so angry after the Hogsmeade weekend.
They had met Rita Skeeter in the Three Broomsticks, where the journalist had tried to get more gossip out of the Gryffindors.
Mioha was really proud of Hagrid, he had kept his head high since returning to his post, not caring so much anymore when some made comments about him.

In the morning before the second task, during breakfast, Professor Snape swept by the Slytherin table.

"Lince, follow me", said the Potions Master coldly and continued his way out of the hall, not bothering to wait.

Mioha quickly swallowed her breakfast and hurried after him, waving encouragingly at Harry as she passed the Gryffindor table.

He looked worse than he had before the first task.

Professor Snape led Mioha up through the corridors until they stopped before the headmaster's office.

"Drobble's Best Blowing Gum", he drawled.

Mioha snorted quietly.
Professor Dumbledore really was a sucker for sweets.

The gargoyle jumped aside with crunching limbs, ignoring Mioha completely and sticking his nose into the air.

The Slytherin shrugged and followed her Head of House up the spiral staircase.

Questions started to form in her mind as she entered the office behind Professor Snape.
Had she done something wrong?

The Potions Master walked into the room and stopped next to Professor Dumbledore, who smiled brightly at her.
"Fantastic, now we are complete."

Who's we?, Mioha wondered and let her gaze travel through the room.
Professor Karkaroff was here, as well as Madam Maxime and Ludo Bagman. Even Percy, who seemed to, once again, be replacing his absent boss.

And three other girls were in the room as well, looking about as clueless as Mioha felt.
She recognized Cho Chang and Hannah Abbott.
The third girl didn't look like a Hogwarts student, at least Mioha didn't recognize her. She had long, blonde hair and big blue eyes, and only seemed to be about twelve.
