I had been to a few muggle clubs in my life, but I had never stayed long, always for the same reason; the dizzily acute fumes of sweat, hormones, and alcohol proved to be above my tolerance

"Are we sure we didn't go to a crack house instead of a nightclub?" Westeria yelled over the pounding music
"As far as I can tell, they're the same thing" I shouted back, my eyes subtly darting around the room until they landed on a familiar face, "he's in the far left corner, in the red booth with two women"
"Don't make it obvious that you're looking, Emerson" Westeria scolded as her brother's head flew to the direction I had described
"How the bloody hell are we supposed to get him alone if he's got two bimbos attached to each side?" Draco said, oblivious to the group of girls eyeing him a few feet away
"We've just gotta out slut them" Westeria replied

With a quick imperious curse, she had compelled the bartender to serve us two drinks which we almost spilled on the way to the dance floor. Emerson and Draco sat at a booth a few feet away, both wearing looks of immense disapproval at the close proximity of the men we were dancing with. My gaze focused on the red booth, I jumped slightly as I felt a pair of hands snake around my waist from behind

"Do you have a name?" The boy's words were slurred to the point that they didn't even sound like English
"Hermione, Hermione Granger" I said without a shred of hesitation
"Pretty name for a pretty girl" he smirked, his hands still by my sides, "I'm Landon"

I was about to push him away, my mind trained on the task at hand-until I caught sight of a black haired girl with her slender legs draped across Draco's lap, one hand toying with his hair and the other holding her drink. He smirked as he caught my eye, leaning his head closer as though to better hear whatever she was saying to him, and she licked the lobe of his ear as she whispered something into it.

"Can I buy you a drink, Hermione?" Landon mumbled
"Are you trying to get me drunk?" I said with raised eyebrows as he led me gently through the crowd of sweaty dancers and to the bar
"Damn, that obvious, huh?" He said with a smile, making me fake a chuckle as I downed a shot, "well since we're being honest-I wanna kiss you really bad right now"
"What's stopping you?" I breathed out as he lowered his face to mine, and I smirked as I found Draco's furious face, no longer bothering to show any interest in the girl on his lap, his attention wholly and unwaveringly fixed onto the boy who had just pressed his lips onto my own

It was impressive how long Draco held out, but when Landon moved his mouth down to my neck, he stood up sharply, not bothering to spare a second glance at the girl who had cried out after hitting the floor before storming across the floor to me

"Get up" he spat harshly, a hand latching onto my upper arm and pulling me off of Landon
"Mate, do you mine, we're kind of in the middle of something" Landon said with an annoyed expression, but Draco was already dragging me away, "what the hell?"
"Let go of me right now!" I demanded, writhing in his grip
"Have you lost your bloody mind, Lestrange?" He yelled at me as he pulled open the public bathroom, casting a locking charm on the door as it slammed closed
"We need to get back out there, open the door" I said sternly
"Why? So you can get back to whoring around with a muggle?" He snarled
"You didn't seem to have an issue with muggles when you had one sitting on you, Malfoy" I screamed out of frustration, a scream that was cut short as he threw me against the cold tile of the bathroom wall, a hand pressed above my head while his lips moved feverishly against mine.

I curled my fingers into his hair as he slid his arms under my thighs, lifting me up onto the sink before biting down scattered bruised across my neck and chest

"Why haven't...you...figured it out...by now?" He mumbled between kisses, "I...own...you"

He lifted his head to admire his designs with a proud smirk, clamping a hand under my chin and lifting my head up to shine light over the dark purple hues

"Since you're having trouble remembering, I've gone ahead and made sure every bastard in this goddamn club knows it" he breathed, rubbing fingers over the sore markings tenderly, "and if I see you with another moronic son of a bitch that isn't the one we're going to kill tonight, I'll take a dagger and carve the words into your skin so you'll never forget it again"

"Are we clear?" He said with a voice burning with hostility, contriving a final mark in the space where my shoulder and my neck met when I nodded wordlessly, "good girl"

He lifted the spell from the door, picking me up by the waist and setting me down onto the floor

"Now let's go kill a boy"

Westeria was mostly correct, the wizard we were targeting had excused the two women from his booth, and I raised my brows when the bartender slid a cocktail my way

"It's from the customer in booth five" when I met his olive stare he raised a hand and beckoned me over with a finger, and I sauntered over, the clicking of my heels inaudible over the blaring music.

I caught Westeria's gaze first, then Emerson's, shooting them both a wink which they returned with stiff nods, before I slid smoothly into the velvet booth

"Thanks for the drink" I said with a sparkling smile
"Do I get a name in exchange for it?" He spoke confidently, his tongue rolling around inside his mouth
"Briar" the lie slipped out like regulation, my mind knew not to use a false name more than once
"Briar" he repeated slowly, swirling his alcohol inside his drink as his tongue familiarised itself with the name I had given him, "are you here alone?"
"I'm with you, aren't I?" I said, smoothly averting the question, making him let out a low chuckle as he eyes travelled over my body
"Suppose so" he replied, "I'm Jack"

No you're not.

You're Charles Weller, and you're going to die tonight.

"Well, Jackson, do you wanna get out of here?" I said, taking my bottom lip between my teeth
"I mean, I have a place three blocks down, on the corner of Rosen and Granit, if you're interested, that is" he said charismatically, making a lump form in my throat
"Sounds good, let me just tell my friend so she doesn't worry" I said with a casual smile, and he nodded shortly

I found Westeria trying not to make her attention obvious, diverting her gaze with a worried expression as I approached her

"Hey, he thinks you're my clubbing friend and I'm letting you know that I'll be leaving with him" I said with a pointed look though I kept the rest of my face composed, "corner of Rosen and Granit. Apparate there with Emerson and Draco, break in, and wait for us inside"
"Okay, have fun, stay safe" she shouted with a giggle, though her eyes contained the same glint of comprehension

As I walked back, I was almost reassured to see Charles' face completely unsuspecting

"Is everything sorted?" He asked politely as he stood up from the booth
"Yeah, I've told her" I answered, taking his outstretched hand
"My car's out front" he said courteously, and as we passed through the blurred motions of dancers, I caught Draco's eye, sending him a silent glance of knowing

When the first block flew past, I concentrated on the growing knot at the pit of stomach

By the second, the knot had tightened significantly

By the third the urge to throw up had grown unbearable

As we passed right by the corner of Rosen and Granit without making a stop, I picked my head up to glance around in confusion before meeting a spine chilling smirk

"Is everything alright, Briar?" He asked with his smirk still etched on as vivid as ever, and I gasped as he conjured a rope out of thin air with his wand, which flew to my wrists and bound them tightly together, "or perhaps I should say...

...(y/n) Lestrange"
