BONUS CHAPTER PART 2

Mark ran up to the stairs after they took care of the other vampires. He was worried about Donghyuck getting trapped inside the closet since he was hiding. He checked every room until he found the room where the beta is.

He saw Donghyuck standing and shivering with fists clenched as he was crying. Mark suddenly got worried about him. He looked down and blood started puddling down on the carpeted floor. The alpha's eyes widened in horror and heard the beta whimpering in pain.

"Love...?"

The beta looked at him with teary eyes and, suddenly ran up to him to tightly hold on his collar and pulled Mark roughly.

"Isn't this what you wanted?! For the baby to die? You're the reason why the baby's gone! I hate you!"

"Mark?"

"If you weren't drunk and forced me to have sex with you, then I wouldn't be in this kind of mess!"

"Mark!"

"I don't want to see you ever again! Do you hear me?! I don't want to be with you anymore! I hate you, Mark Lee!"

"Hey, Mark! Wake up!"

Mark opened his eyes with cold sweat running down his forehead. He pushed himself to sit and look around him to see Donghyuck worriedly looking back at him. The alpha held his chest as he was panting while the beta rubbed his back to soothe him.

"It's alright. I'm here...Bad dream?" Donghyuck asked.

Mark nodded.

"Do you want to talk about it?" the beta asked again.

The alpha hesitantly looked back at his "mate" and just suddenly had the urge to hug the beta so he did. Donghyuck was surprised about it so he thought it must've been really heavy.

"I'm really sorry..."

Mark uttered that broke the beta's heart. The alpha rarely says anything that he regrets and it was something the beta didn't want to hear. Donghyuck hugged his alpha back and caressed the back of his neck.

"Sorry about what, love?"

The alpha buried his face against Donghyuck's neck and hugged him tightly.

"About everything. From the day I forced myself on you until now...Things could've been different if I wasn't an asshole, a bastard. You could've been with someone else who doesn't treat you like shit. I'm the most horrible person you could possibly be with. You must be hating me because we lost the baby. I couldn't protect you enough and it's my dumbass fault. I don't even know if I'm a good father to Chan..."

"Look at me."

The alpha heard and it took him a second before he did. He slowly pulled himself away and saw the beta smiling warmly at him.

"Listen to me carefully. If I really regretted everything, if I really hate you, if I really think you're going to be a bad father...none of these won't exist. I wouldn't be here, right? About the miscarriage...none of us wanted that so stop blaming yourself for it. With that, you just proved yourself worthy to be someone I want to be with," Donghyuck said.

The beta cupped the alpha's cheeks and placed a kiss on his forehead.

"You're just getting old, that's why you think like that," the beta joked.

Mark clicked his tongue and snuggled himself close to Donghyuck again. The beta chuckled and treated his alpha like his baby. He hugged and held him close. Donghyuck smiled in content just how Mark became clingy since a few weeks ago.

"You should stop thinking like that. It's finished so you should stop bringing it up," the beta said.

"My dream was about you hating and pushing me away from you. Do you know how much trauma that caused me?" Mark uttered.

Donghyuck hummed, "But it's not true. I'm still here...and I'll stay, don't worry. Me and Chan will stay here with you. I promise you that."

They stayed like that until they fell asleep. They were still in each other's warmth as both of them woke up, the next morning, on the holiday with their child happily jumping on their bed.
