The sun was starting to set and Mark was waiting for Donghyuck before he leave for blood hunting. On second thought, he might just go and leave the beta on his own in his house.

But Jaehyun might scold him and Taeyong will definitely nag at him for it.

Mark sighed in frustration. Soon, he heard knocks on his front door which he thought it's Donghyuck. He stood up and opened the door. The beta has luggage and a bag that Jaehyun was carrying. The alpha let them in and let the Headman put the bags down.

"Mark, take care of him, yeah?"

Mark nodded, "Yeah."

Jaehyun ruffled his hair before he goes out and close the door behind him. Mark didn't even think twice to leave Donghyuck at the doorway and was about to walk upstairs but the beta spoken.

"Aren't you gonna help me, alpha?" Donghyuck asked in a sassy tone.

Mark didn't know he'll get annoyed this soon, "You can carry them, so why bother?"

"But I'm pregnant!"

"Oh come on! You need some exercise, okay? So, start picking them up to the room," Mark said before he goes upstairs.

Donghyuck stomped and shouted, "Come back here, dumbfuck! I can't carry them!"

But no one came to carry them for him.

Donghyuck looked at the bags and maybe he can carry them by himself. He pulled and dragged the bags up to the stairs. He was too afraid to even pull them up, he was afraid to stress the fetus inside.

Mark came out of his room, already in his black outfit, and saw a struggling beta. His eyebrows furrowed and just passed Donghyuck as he walk down. The beta saw him and felt like crying that the alpha couldn't even do a favor for him.

And Mark saw this. Donghyuck was still struggling to pull the big luggage up. He just sighed and goes up to help him.

"Give me that," Mark said as he grabbed the luggage and the bag Donghyuck had on his shoulder, "Follow me. I'll show you to your room."

Donghyuck hid his smile as he followed Mark from behind. The alpha opened a door at the end of the hallway. He put the bags down and showed Donghyuck around.

"This will be your room. I cleaned it and changed the covers. The bathroom will be there," Mark pointed the door at the other hallway, "And my bedroom is just beside yours. Here's my number, if you need anything, try and call me."

Donghyuck nodded. He looked around and saw Mark leaving.

"Alpha!" Donghyuck called and Mark turned to look at him.

"What?"

"Where are you going?"

"Out."

"Why?"

"I need blood, beta. Now, be a good beta and stay here. You can do whatever the fuck you want inside my house," Mark said.

He was just about to walk down when Donghyuck spoke.

"I need you here!" the beta whined.

"What for?!"

"I need...someone to fetch me things and be my servant."

"Servant my ass, beta. I'll get going!"

"Alpha!" Donghyuck shouted.

Mark turned once again, "What, now?!"

The beta gulped, "Y-You can try my blood."

The alpha scoffed as he looked at the beta with an eyebrow raised. He walked towards Donghyuck and stopped until they're just inches away. Donghyuck was just looking down and regretted saying that. Slowly, Mark leaned on Donghyuck's neck.

"You want me to drink your blood?" Mark huskily whispered, letting his hot breath ghost Donghyuck's neck.

Donghyuck blushed.

Mark smelled his blood through his skin. Donghyuck's heart was beating so fast, it was making him nervous. The alpha licked the skin, above the pulsating vein. It earned a smirk from Mark.

"I'm going," Mark said and before Donghyuck could even shout and call him, the alpha ran out of the house.

Donghyuck pouted and thought to just put his clothes into the cabinet.

"Maybe my blood was too toxic?" Donghyuck paused, "Why am I even upset about it? If you don't want my blood, then fucking starve, you stupid Vampire."

But it was far from what Mark thought about Donghyuck's blood. He was salivating. He knew it was new to his taste. His blood was extraordinary, different from the ones he used to drink. But drinking his blood could only mean they'll share emotions and be mates. He can't just do that, can he?

"What are you doing here?"

Mark looked up and saw Johnny.

"I'm looking for food, obviously."

Johnny chuckled, "Isn't Donghyuck with you?"

"I don't want his blood."

"I don't believe you. You're such a bad liar, Mark."

Mark looked at him annoyingly, "I really don't! His blood's disgusting."

Johnny shrugged, leaning against the break wall. He saw a person running away from a lady. Maybe a robber? He looked at Mark and saw him looking at his prey.

"Well, dinner is served," Johnny said.

"Be right back."

Going back to Donghyuck, he was currently inside his room. He was lying down on his bed, not even gonna bother cooking for himself. He doesn't have any appetite since Mark isn't with him.

He was already mad at himself--Why would he even want Mark to be with him? Maybe part of him wants to tease the alpha but part of him was craving him. He craved for Mark's presence.

Donghyuck was stressing out because of it and he didn't like the feeling. He was whining too much and kept calling Mark but he doesn't pick his phone up.

"Please pick up."

Donghyuck kept calling the alpha until it got accepted. His face brightened.

"Hello?"

"What is it, this time?!"

"I need you here."

"What are you? A baby?"

"Goddammit, alpha! I really need you here !"

"What?! Are you expecting me to cook for you? Why don't you call for a delivery?"

Before the beta could even shout at him, the alpha ended the call. Donghyuck got upset and at the same time annoyed. Mark didn't even know Donghyuck really needed him.
