I ran as fast as my legs could take me to the hospital. As soon as Riley called me and told me what happened with Maya I ran straight to the airport.

My leg couldn't stop shaking on the plane ride back home. It didn't sound good from what Riley told me.

I pushed the hospital doors open and ran up the floor where Riley told me she was waiting. As soon as I saw Riley I stopped running and ran to her side.

"How is she? Is she okay? Where is she? Can I see her?" I shouted.

Riley put her hand on my arm, "Lucas calm down."

"I can't calm down. Where is she? What did they say about her?"

"They had to pump her stomach."

There was a guy that I went to college with who had to have his stomach pumped three times within a month.

I nodded my head, "Can I see her?"

"Yeah I'm pretty sure she would like to see you too," Riley replied.

I walked down the hallway and into Maya room. She didn't have a roommate so she was able to just rest.

I walked over to her sleeping body and kissed her forehead.

"Oh Maya what are we going to do with you?" I asked.

Next chapter is really sad in my opinion :(
