Lucas left me a note saying he had to go into school today. I don't remember him leaving this morning.

To be fair I really don't remember anything from yesterday past being all alone.

After finally getting out of bed I made my way over to my apartment to get a shower.

Riley was still sleeping when I got in the shower, but when I came out she was up and drinking her coffee.

"You know coffee stunts your growth," I said.

"I'm done growing," Riley replied.

I shrugged my shoulders, "This is very true."

"So are you and Lucas okay?"

"I think so. I don't really remember what he said to me."

"Why?"

"I was out with Daisy and we may have had a few to many drinks."

"How many is a few to many?"

"Enough that I called Daisy from Forever Young Daisy the Duck."

Riley laughed, "You got to party with Daisy while I sat home and tried to cheer up your boyfriend."

"You're such a great friend."

My phone buzzed in my pocket.

Marty: Come down to the studio quick and bring Riley with you.

"Who is it?" Riley asked.

I replied, "Marty. She wants us both down at the studio fast."

"Come in her Riley and Maya!" Marty yelled.

Riley and I followed Marty into the recording studio.

"Marty what are we doing here?" I asked.

"Yeah. I get why you would call Maya down here, but why me? I don't even sing," Riley explained.

"But you can sing," Marty added, "And recently it has become aware that you and Maya have been friends for so long."

Riley and I had been friend for a really long time.

"So a lot of people have been calling you can Riley Friendship goals," Marty said, putting Friendship goals in air quotes, "Whatever that means."

Riley asked, "Okay so what are we doing here?"

"You two are recording a cover."
