Today was the first day everyone gets to go home and visit our families. I was also going to meet Riley's family and Shawn for the first time. Maya and Riley were also going to meet my family for the first time.

The airport was packed full of people trying to get where they needed to go. Farkle and I were currently sitting down at our gate and Maya was off with Riley buying some magazines for the plane ride.

"So are you excited to be going home," Farkle asked me.

"Yeah. I'm excited to meet Riley's parents and Shawn," I said.

"Be prepared to have lots of talks from Riley's parents and Shawn."

"About what?"

"About how they they both love Maya like a daughter and they don't want anyone to hurt her."

"But Maya and I are just friends."

"They won't see it as that."

"Should I be worried?"

"No they just want keep her safe."

Riley and Farkle were sitting to the left of Maya and I on the plane, but Riley and Farkle had fallen asleep long ago.

"Your turn," Maya said.

Maya and I were currently playing tic-tac-toe on a napkin given to us. I took the pen and put an x in one of the empty spaces. Maya did the next one and won.

"Ha you lose," Maya gloated.

"I demand a recount," I shouted.

"Someone's a sore loser."

"I let you win."

"I'm sure you did."

"I can promise I did."

"Whatever," Maya yawned.

"Are you tired?" I asked.

"Kinda," Maya shrugged.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and pulled her head down to rest on my shoulder.

"Take a nap. I'll wake you up when we land."

Maya shut her eyes and I laid my head down on hers.
