"When will these to lovebirds realize that they are meant to be."

While I was out of town I missed a lot. For one I missed the part where Lucas told Maya that he likes her, which I only heard from Lucas. The two of them must be ignoring what he said and moving on.

Lucas was passed out on his couch complaining about Maya while he waited for her to get back from a meeting with Marty.

The four of us were going out to a new club that opened up down the road. Maya wanted to forget about Josh and Lucas thought it would be a good way to forget about Maya.

"Hey sure tonight you'll meet some girl and forget all about her," I told Lucas.

"I can't believe she turned me down," Lucas complained.

"Technically she didn't turn you down, she just didn't respond to your offer."

Lucas groaned and got up from he's couch. Farkle walked over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water for him, which he drank it seconds.

"Hey I'm sure by next week you two will be jumping over a broomstick together," Farkle told him.

"Yeah I guess," Lucas mumbled.

A knock at the front door interrupted our conversation. Lucas practically ran over to the door, because he knew it was Maya.

"Hey come on it," I heard Lucas say.

Maya walked in and gave everyone a small wave.

"Are you guys ready to go?" Lucas asked.

"Let's go dance the night way," I yelled.

-

The club was packed full of people dancing to whatever the newest pop song was at the moment. Lucas and Maya had taken off and went dancing together after everyone shared a couple drinks together.

Farkle and I were off to the side talking about Maya and Lucas as we sipped on our drinks.

"Hey guys," Maya yelled over the music.

Lucas wasn't by her side and I couldn't see him through the crowd.

"Where's Lucas?" I asked.

Maya pointed over towards the bar where Lucas was standing.

"How many drinks have you had?" Farkle asked.

Maya shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe three or four. I lost count of how many."

Lucas walked back over to where we were standing and handed Maya a drink.

I asked, "And how many drinks have you had?"

"The one we had together, but this one over here has had a lot more," Lucas laughed.

Maya took the last of her drink and ran off back to the dance floor. Lucas ran back over to her and they continued to dance together.

"I wish Maya could see how great Lucas would be for her," I whined.

"Maybe she'll realize it tonight," Farkle laughed.

I was a bit annoyed that he found this funny. In reality Maya did need a strong guy who would actually treat her right.

"Why are you laughing?" I slapped his chest.

"Cause I laugh."

"So what's new at work."

Farkle pointed his finger, "That's certainly new."

I looked in the direction of Farkle's pointed finger. His finger pointed in the direction of where Maya and Lucas were dancing, but this time they weren't dancing.

They were kissing. They weren't having a drunk kiss it was more of a romantic kiss that Farkle and I would have.

-

Omg the kiss finally happened. Yahhhhh I'm so happy!!!!
