"Sometimes I wish that we could fall in and out of love like sixth graders do."

After we got dressed Josh and I walked over to my apartment. The door was unlocked so that meant Riley and Farkle were still there.

I was so glad that they didn't spend the night in Farkle's apartment last night. They would have witnessed Josh and I come out of Lucas' old room.

"Hey guys," I said, as we walked through the door.

Riley and Farkle were sitting on the couch watching some movie.

"Hey," Farkle waved, "What are you doing here Josh?"

"I ran into Riley and Maya last night at the club and I ended up being her babysitter after Riley left," Josh explained.

"Do you guys know what time it is?" Riley asked.

I hadn't even thought of the time. Josh and I were up so late that we probably slept in later than usual.

I checked my phone. It was almost five.

"It is almost five and you guys just woke up," Farkle laughed.

Riley asked, "What time did you guys go to bed at?"

"I don't even remember, but you have to give us credit, because we have actually been up for the past hour," Josh said.

"What have you guys been doing?" Riley asked.

"We were just kinda over there talking on Lucas' b-"

I didn't stop myself in time.

There is no way that they didn't hear what I just said.

"You guys were in my apartment?" Farkle questioned, "And you were on Lucas' bed?"

My cheeks got all red as I nodded my head.

"Do I even want to know what you and Josh were doing?" He asked.

"No," Josh simply said.

I interrupted them, "Okay fine. Yes Josh and I slept together last night."

Well now it's out in the open.

"I thought we weren't going to tell them that," Josh smirked.

"You guys slept together!" Riley and Farkle yelled.

"Yes. And now the neighbors know that we have as well," I shouted.

Now I just felt like everyone was staring at me.

Farkle and Riley probably had a thousand questions to ask me.

"Don't you have a girlfriend?" Farkle asked Josh.

At least I'm not the only one who was always being reminded of past relationships.

Josh nodded, "No. She broke up with me a couple days ago."

"So are you guys dating?" Farkle asked.

"No. Last night was a mistake," I began.

Josh finished, "We both agreed that it's for the best if we both stay friends."

"So everything is cool between you guys?" Riley asked.

"It's as if we never dated or broke up," I replied.

"Waffles are served," Josh sang.

Josh sat down a plate of waffles in front of us.

"Thank you for making the waffles," Riley said.

"Nobody can touch the waffles unless they get Maya's special syrup!" Josh yelled.

I laughed and Farkle and Riley both face each other strange looks.

"What is the special syrup?" They both asked.

I laughed, "The tour before last I took Josh to some breakfast place and they had the best syrup ever. He bought me a bunch of it as a joke for an anniversary present."

"I thought you threw away everything that Josh got you,"Riley said.

"Hello I'm not going to throw away the best syrup ever made. I am not crazy," I told them.

Everyone laughed and started eating our waffles until my phone started to vibrate.

"Who's that?" Riley asked.

I looked down at the screen. There was a text from Mindy.

Mindy: Hey Maya in town this week and need a guest to perform. Are you interested?

"It's Mindy."

Maya: Yeah when is it

Mindy: Tomorrow.

Maya: I'll be there

Mindy: Feel free to bring your normal group of friends

"Who wants to come with me tomorrow and watch me perform at Mindy's show?" I asked.

"Meeeeee!" The three of them shouted.

Riley asked, "So Mindy is in town?"

"Yup. Looks like I'm performing again."
