"So Lucas's is going out on a date?" I asked.

Riley nodded her head, "Yeah he met some girl while they were out getting coffee."

I knew Lucas didn't have a girlfriend, but I didn't think he was looking for someone.

"Yeah. But anyway do you want to hang out tonight. Lucas will be out on his date and Farkle has to work late."

"I'm sorry, who's he going out with?"

"He meet some girl at the coffee shop on fifth street."

"I've been there before. They have the best hot chocolate around."

"Yeah. Apparently the girl thought you and Lucas were dating."

Paparazzi must work fast if they already have pictures of Lucas and I together. I haven't checked magazines lately to see if Lucas and I have been photographed together.

"Riley can we go to the store?" I asked.

"Ahhhh look," I shouted, pointing at the magazine that had Lucas and I photographed together.

There was two or three different magazines printed asking the same questions.

Is this Maya Harts new Boyfriend?

"Hey listen to this," Riley said, "Maya Hart has been spotted walking around town with a new guy. In a recent interview Maya stated she now had three friends living with her in California, the third one being Lucas Friar. Are Lucas and Maya good friends like she stated or something more?"

"Do you think Lucas has seen these?" I asked.

"Probably not. Why?"

"What if he sees these and gets mad? Or what if he sees them and doesn't want to be my friend anymore."

"He's not that kind of guy, Maya."

"The Paparazzi make people do strange things."

"Maya relax things are fine, Lucas will understand."

"You don't know that."

"Maya calm down your face is getting really red."

I pressed my hands to my cheeks. They were in fact hot and clammy.

"We need to get you out of here," Riley said.
