"We found love right where we are."

"Hey Maya," Shawn said, immediately smiling when he saw me.

Shawn didn't look better or worse than the last time I saw him.

"Shawn," I smiled, wrapping my arms around him.

"How are you doing?"

"Fine. How are you?"

Shawn looked around at all the machine equipment around us, basically his way of I'm dying.

"Right," I mumbled, "How are you feeling though?"

"Some days are good and others are bad. Everything depends on the day," Shawn added, "So I haven't seen you in the papers or on TV lately. Is there anything new going on with you?"

I said, "Umm yeah. I'm actually dating someone again."

I could see Shawn's protective side starting to come out. Lucas would probably be at the top of his hit list once I told him that we were dating.

"Does it happened to be Lucas?"

Before I could answer him someone knocked on the door. Shawn looked over before I had the chance to see if it was him or not.

"Hello Lucas," Shawn said, giving me a small smirk.

"Hey Shawn," Lucas said, pulling a chair over towards the bed.

"So I already gave you the talk last time you were here, should I add anything to it."

"Hey we didn't even say we were dating," I laughed.

"It's not that hard to tell that your dating."

"Yeah. I mean you showing up here with me was kind of a give away."

Lucas nodded his head and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"I may not be around for much longer so if I die and you hurt Maya, I will have to hire someone to hurt you," Shawn said.

"I can promise you and Maya that I won't be hurting anyone," Lucas reassured.

Lucas was exactly the guy I pictured myself being with when I was younger. And no matter how many jokes Shawn made I knew that he liked Lucas.

Shawn smiled, "Good man. Maya you picked out a good one."

"Thank you," I laughed.

Awwwww everyone knows they're dating except for the public. They will find out at some point though.

Two things:

The next couple chapters will jump around by a month or two.

I also (spoiler) saw the Rucas kiss and I'm not happy right now :/ ;( :(
