Maya and I were laying on the ground of my apartment playing with Jerry when Riley and Farkle got home.

"Yo! We're back!" Farkle yelled.

Jerry took off running towards the door to see what all the commotion was and once Riley saw him he was wrapped in her arms.

"You guys got a kitten!" She squeaked.

Farkle rubbed behind Jerry's ear making him purr.

Maya said,"I named him Jerry Blossom."

"He's so cute! Can I please have him?" Riley asked.

"No. But I do need you to watch him tonight," Maya added, "I have something very important tonight."

Maya looked up at me and I gave her a quick wink. Riley wasn't paying attention, but Farkle saw it.

"What's tonight?" Riley asked.

"Let's go back and unpack," Farkle said, putting an arm around Riley.

"Wait I'm confused," Riley mumbled.

"You won't be."

"Oh. Ohhhhh," Riley said, finally understanding what was happening.

I nervously stood outside Maya's apartment waiting for to walk out the door. The great part about being friends with Maya was I knew what she wanted to do on a first date.

When I front door opened I felt my stomach drop to the ground. We were just going to get some ice cream and she still looked beautiful.

"Hi," Maya grinned.

"Hey," I waved.

Riley popped her head out the door, "Have her back before eleven."

"Goodbye Riley," Maya said, shutting the door.

Maya and I were currently sitting on the deck of the ice cream parlour talking about Shawn.

"How's he doing?" I asked.

"He's okay I guess. They can't do anything else to help him so it's just a matter of time now," Maya replied.

"I bet it's hard not seeing him."

Trust me if anyone knows how she is feeling it would be me. I know how it feels to not see a member of your family for a long time.

"Yeah. I wanted to move out to New York when he told me about the cancer. Of course when I told him that he said I wasn't allowed to put my life on hold for his."

"We should visit him then. It would be the perfect chance for you to introduce me as your new boyfriend."

I picked up her hand and laced our fingers together.

"Who said anything about you being my boyfriend," Maya teased.

I pulled my hand away and put it on my heart acting like what she said hurt.

"Now that hurt, Hart," I complained.

Maya laughed, "Since when do we call each other by our last names, Friar."

"But I'm serious lets go visit Shawn again."

"What about Jerry?"

"He can come with us."

Maya nodded her head, "So just to be clear you are my boyfriend?"

"Well I was hoping to be."

Maya leaned over and kissed me. Her lips tasted sweet from the ice cream we had been eating.

"Lucas Friar is my boyfriend," Maya said.

"And Maya Hart is my new best friend."

At my joke Maya jumped up and starting walking back down the path.

"Fine. Maya Hart is my girlfriend."

"Too late," Maya jokingly yelled.

"Nope," I yelled, throwing her over my shoulders.

"Put me down!" Maya laughed.

"Not until you admit I'm your boyfriend."

"Fine. Lucas Friar is my Boyfriend!"

I put her back down on the ground and she put her hands on her hips trying to look sassy.

"Awww. You're cute when you try to be mad at me," I smirked, before kissing her cheek.

I love how even though they are dating they still are very sarcastic towards each other.

Also it may seem like it's really early to be calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend but they've been friends for a while now and they just didn't want to wait.

Wow that was a really long run on sentence.
