"We see what we want in people and not what we want people to see out of us."

For the second time in a week I'm stuck sitting in the same hospital chair waiting for Maya to wake up.
"This is crazy," Riley shouted in frustration.
"Riley calm down," Farkle said wrapping his arms around Maya.
"She'll be okay," I reassured them.
Time passed by and the three of us stayed sitting in the same chairs. Riley and Farkle mumbled things back and fourth to each other as I just twiddled with my thumbs.
"She has a show in two days," Riley told us.
"Do you think she'll be okay by then?" I asked.
"She won't let me cancel it anyway."
"Mr. Frair," a doctor voice said, "Maya's awake."
"Oh thank god," Riley breathed in.
"Can we go see her?" Farkle asked.
"Sure. She's in room 207," the doctor pointed down the hall.
The three of us walked down into Maya's room. She smiled when she was us.
"Don't even think about cancelling my show."
