"Are you going to stand there and watch her slowly wilt away or are you going to help her?"

Farkle sat down at table next to me.
"Is she still sleeping?" Farkle asked.
I nodded, "She has been asleep for hours."
I checked on her ten minutes after I shut her door and she was asleep. Unlike her I haven't been asleep all night.
Last night I couldn't stop thinking about Maya.
He asked, "What about you? Have you been slept at all?"
"Nope. I've been up all night worrying about her."
I spent half of the night worrying about what would happen the next time I left the apartment. Of course I checked the internet for what it thought was the best solution for Maya's problem, but that wasn't much help.
"Riley you know that's not good for you right now."
"I know I should be resting, but she is my best friend I can't let her go through this alone."
"She's not going through his alone, because she has us."
"Farkle she needs real help. We don't know how to keep her from taking seven shots every night," I began, "I'm terrified that the next night time I leave this apartment she'll drink to much and I won't be here to save her. She is my best friend and I can't lose her to alcohol."
I was getting emotional thinking about this.
"Hey come her," Farkle said, opening his arms, "I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault."
I went over and sat on his lap and he pulled me in close.
"Maya is an alcoholic and she needs help before this completely takes over her life," I said.
Farkle nodded, "Okay well we need to get her some help."
"I'll call my dad and ask him what we should do," I replied.
-
"Okay. Thank you dad," I told him.
"Just make sure she does this. It will really help her," He replied.
"I will."
"Alright. I love you."
"I love you too dad."
We both hung up the phone and I returned back to the kitchen.
Farkle was looking at the website that my dad told up to check. There was a rehab in New York that could help Maya.
"What's the website say?" I asked.
"They have a program there for alcoholics. She can go for a hundred and twenty days and stay longer if she needs to," Farkle read.
"She won't be back for four months. She is going to miss a lot."
"She's also going to be two thousand miles away."
That's so far away.
"I think that we should send her. I don't care if she's two thousand miles away as long as she can get better."
Farkle nodded, "I'll call them and tell them that she's coming."
Farkle picked up the phone and dilated their number. He left the website up on my laptop and I read through the program Maya would be going through.
I think that this place could really help her stay sober.
Farkle came back into the room.
I asked, "What did they say?"
"They have a spot open for Maya. They would like to have her by Friday," Farkle replied.
"Friday that's in three days."
"Yup."
"We better get her ready."
"Who wants to tell Maya?"
"Not me."
"Maybe we both should tell her."
-
Farkle and Riley are really good friends.
This story is almost over.
Omg there is only five more chapters left.
But there is something missing.
