"Well I'm stubborn and wrong, but at least I know it."

I was in the middle of taking a nap when a pounding sound coming from the door scared me enough to wake me up. I pulled out my phone and it read 4:57, which was to early for Riley to be home from her date. On my way to the front door I fixed my hair and my pajama so I would look some what presentable.
"Hello," Lucas said, leaning against the door frame holding out two drinks.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
Lucas shrugged, "Riley asked if I could come check on you so here I am."
"Yup here you are," I held onto the door as I stared him down.
Lucas held out the drink, "I got you something."
I shook my head, "I don't drink coffee."
"See that's why I got you hot chocolate, your favorite by the way."
"How, how'd you know that?"
I was used to most people knowing everything about me, because my life was basically out there for the public to see. Obviously I kept somethings to myself, but sometimes people found stuff out about me.
"Riley called me while I was getting a coffee and I asked her what you liked."
"Most guys would just get me whatever they want."
"I'm not like most guys," Lucas laughed.
"That was cringeworthy," I mumbled.
I opened the door for Lucas to come in and he sat down his bag he was carrying.
"What's with the bag?" I asked.
"I had classes today," Lucas sighed.
"Classes?"
In the few short days I had known Lucas I didn't know that he was still in college.
"I'm training to be a vet," Lucas said sipping his drink.
I walked over towards the couch and sat down, Lucas jointed me a few seconds later, he sat fairly close to me even though there was room on both sides of me.
"Why are you going to Vet school in California?" I asked.
"I'm waiting for my acceptance letter to Franklin," Lucas said.
"Where's Franklin?"
"Boston."
"I've been there it's nice."
"Yeah. I'm taking classes here until I get accepted to Franklin," Lucas explained.
I sipped my hot chocolate as the silence in the room grow louder. Lucas's phone started vibrating making him shift around on the couch.
"Who's that? Is is one of your many girlfriends?" I asked.
Lucas smirked and shook his head, "No I'm one hundred percent available."
"Well I'm one hundred percent not available," I sassed.
"Sure."
"I can promise you I'll never fall for you."
