Maya and I decided to go to the boardwalk since it had been a couple days since she had pasted out. The bruise on her head was almost gone, Maya covered the little mark up with makeup.

The boardwalk was crowded, like it was only any normal Saturday, but we were lucky to not many people came up asking pictures.

Maya asked me, "Have you been to the boardwalk since you moved out here?"

I had been to the beach many times since being out, but I hadn't been to the boardwalk yet.

"Nope. Farkle never wanted to go with me," I told her.

Maya laughed, "You couldn't find anyone else to go with you?"

"Hey this may come as a surprise to you but I've only talked to a few people since I moved out here."

"You don't get a lot of girls with that pretty face of yours."

"You think I have a pretty face?"

"Sure, doesn't everyone?"

"Well if it's any consolation I think you have an pretty face as well," I grinned.

Maya blushed and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. I smiled at her which only made her blush even more.

She mumbled, "Thanks."

I was happy that a lot of people weren't stopping Maya and I asking for pictures. If that would have happened a lot of people would have been assking if we were dating. Most people at the boardwalk at the moment were my age or older, I guessing Maya's fans were a little younger than us.

"So what do you want to do first?" Maya asked.

"We can go get some food or look in shops or we can ride some rides," I responded.

"How about we go on the ferries wheel?" Maya suggested.

"Alright let's go."

Maya and I made our way over to ferries wheel and hopped in. The view of the beach was absolutely amazing. The sun was setting which gave the sky the perfect orange tint.

"Hey will you take a picture with me?" Maya asked.

"For?" I questioned.

"I was going to put it on Twitter and Instagram."

"Yes I forget the pressure popstars get to post selfies with their friends."

Maya rolled her eyes, "Shut up we're taking a picture together."

Maya moved over close to where I was sitting and took the picture of us. She quickly put the picture up on whatever social media she picked.

My phone buzzed.

There was a new tweet from Maya.

@mayahart: chilling at the boardwalk with @TheLucasFriar😝

And then the picture of us below.

"You get my tweets send to your phone?" Maya asked.

"Don't act to surprised, I get Riley's and Farkle's sent to my phone as well."

My phone buzzed again.

This time with a text from Riley.

From Riley: How's Maya doing

"Riley wants to know how your doing?"

"Tell her your being a very good babysitter."

"Thank you very much."
