“Right, so now we’re going to call my mum.”
“Yeah. Here it goes.”
*call*
“Hello?”
“Hi mum. It’s Zoe…. and Alfie.”
“Hello beautiful’s how are you both?”
“We’re fine, but we have something to tell you.”
“Your pregnant again?”
“No… I asked Zoe to marry me this morning.”
“OH MY GOD! Zoe you said yes, you have to of!”
“Yes mum. I did.”
“I’m so happy for you both, we’ll need to catch up for some lunch next week, so give me a text when your free.”
“Will do! Talk to you later!”
*call end*
“Okay. So that went well with my mum. Who should we call next Zoe?”
“I think we should call… Joe.”
“Zoe. Out of video, do you think we should. I dont think it’s the best idea.”
“Alfie, i’ll feel bad if I don’t.”
“Alright.”
“Okay so now we’re calling Joe. He’s on holiday as you guys know from his recent vlogs.. (‘he wont do them anymore after next month’. i mumbled.) So I haven't talked to him in a while.”
*rings, rings, and rings again. no pick up*
“Well, Joe isn’t picking up. Who should we call next Zo?”
“FORGET IT. JOE HATES ME NOW. WONT PICK UP. AND WHY!!???”
Alfie stood up, turned off the camera, and walked over to me to give me a hug. He held me tight, and I nuzzled my head into his chest.
“It’s okay Little One. We’ll tell him another day. When does he come back?”
“He’s already back in Scotland from his holiday.”
“Why don’t we take a trip up there. We can ask your mum or dad where he’s living. They’ve visited haven't they?”
“Yeah, but… Fine. I just. I don't know how he will react.”
“It’s fine. I’ll look at some flights, and hotels.”
“Do we have to fly?”
“It’s up to you…”
