More than friends.

Part One- Nerves.

Zoe’s POV

I’m finally getting to see Alfie and Louise today. They’ve been away at ‘Vidcon’ for the past week. I didn't go because of my anxiety with flying, and anxiety in general. And plus, i’m not a popular youtuber yet. “Maybe next year,” I sighed to myself. I was going to see them at the party that Gleam were hosting. But I was so nervous. What if I screwed up. What if I made a fool out of myself. What if I UNDERdress? What if I OVERdress. What am I going to wear? I won’t know anyone apart from Joe, Louise, and Alfie! Oh god, breath Zoe, breathe. My phone suddenly dinged from my beside table, making me jump. 

Joe:

“Hey Zoe, are you definitely coming to the Gleam thing tonight? Alfie and I need a ride.” 

I quickly text back yes. Alfie was Joe’s roommate, and my best friend. Pretty convenient. I headed over to my wardrobe and started ripping it apart to find the perfect outfit. After hours of inspecting every piece of clothing I owned, I finally decided on a black party dress, tights, and these beautiful new black high heels that I had just bought. I then showered, and did my hair. For my hair I let it loose and curled it so I had beach waves. I settled on a natural makeup look with smokey eyes, and my trademark red lipstick from Kate Moss. I realised the time, and I started to panic. Thinking of all the worst scenarios that could happen. So I distracted myself with watching peoples videos that I would be seeing tonight. 

Finally the time came for me to leave. I picked up Joe and Alfie on the way to pick up Louise. And then off we went. Louise kept reassuring me, but my nerves wouldn't stop jangling.

I am not going to be doing Alfie’s POV until either the party, or when the feelings start to kick in. Hope you like the first chapter so far. Letting you know now: The first chapter that I just wrote is based on another Zalfie Fan Fiction I read previously. The words are mine, however the idea, and storey line of this chapter is not mine.
